I was thrilled to be able to get this facsimile as it was written by my 5x Great Grandfather, so I'm biased. I wasn't able to understand it, but for me, that was irrelevant. I recommend it to any descendants of William Chambers from Whitehaven, born circa 1700. I feel honoured to have the opportunity to read something an ancestor wrote and I thank the publishers who have made it possible. It is amazing that so many valuable historical publications have been made accessible for people to read today.
