Jaws Box Set (Jaws 2, Jaws 3 & Jaws: The Revenge) [Blu-ray] [1978]

Awesome 3 disc set! always the jaws movies since I was a little kid and to have all three seque only ls in the set is terrific and also clearsup some space in my movie collection. Now here are Amazon its listed at as Region B however, it is in fact a REGION FREE set.The picture quality is great! 2 has the best picture over all. 3 could probably have used a little more work on it, but its definately way better thenprevious prints on DVD, VHS, and Laser. I couldn't test Jaws 3D because for that you need a 3D bluray player and 3D HDTV as well. But thats ok because the print of Jaws 3 that they here is the one used for the 3D version as they use the original "Jaws 3D title card. As for the Jaws The Revenge, Ah well, its a guilty pleasure. It may be a bad film but it has its moments. Just as a reiminder this set is just for the sequels only and the package CLEARLY states this. On the back cover you'll see the poster art for the three films. Its all great Jaws movie fun!

It’s great to get all three sequels in one collection. And to also have Jaws 3 in 3D is just awesome. It requires a 3D television and 3D glasses to watch it which Is why I wanted it cause I have both. If your having a hard time finding the 3D version on the Blu Ray disc it’s hidden in the extras part in the main menu on Jaws 3 disc. The quality is great considering the time period. And all the discs are region free so should work in all blu Ray players. It’s a really great deal for the price. I know it doesn’t come with the first Jaws movie. But if you already own that one on Blu Ray like me then it’s good to have the rest.

Perfect if you already have the original. This set is 3 movies: Jaws 2, Jaws 3, and Jaws: The Revenge. It does NOT include the original masterpiece by Spielberg. I looked at the pictures and figured it out but the current title of “Jaws Jaws 2, Jaws 3 & Jaws: The Revenge” is misleading and might make some people think this set has all 4 movies. IT DOES NOT.

We were able to play them just fine. If you get a chance to watch the documentary of how these were made, dont miss it. Pretty interesting.

The item is advertised as Jaws box set, however it's only 2, 3, 4 in the series. The original Jaws is not included and it's really not made clear anywhere in the description that it's not included.

Qualité de jaws 2 sa passe encore mais alors jaws 3 et 4 c une catastrophe même un DVD à une résolution plus propre que se que j'ai regarder en soit disant blu-ray....nul ne commander pas se pack qui n'ai que tromperie le boîtier est bleu certe mais il ne mérite pas d'être dans votre vidéothèque...

For international readers: No, it's not a fake box as some have suggested! The 3D version of Jaws 3 has to be "activated" via the bonus material submenu. That's all.Ich schreibe normalerweise keine Bewertungen, aber hierfür schon.Ich hab diese Box gekauft, weil ich beim ersten Teil auf die 4K Blu ray warte und daher sehr froh war, dass ich, der vollständigkeithalber, eine Box nur für Teile 2-4 gefunden habe. Die Filme sind mittelmäßig, schlecht und schlecht; ich denke die meisten wissen das. Ich schaue sie dennoch als Fan der Serie. Meine 4 Sterne beziehen sich also auf die Blu rays selbst. In 2D durchweg sehr gut restauriertes Bild und der Ton (ich schaue Englisch) ist auch genial.Jaws 3D: Die Blu ray beginnt im 2D Format, das 3D muss unter Extras eingestellt werden. Es ist ein sehr krasser 3D Effekt der dem Film optisch viel gibt. Manchmal sind die Popout-Effekte allerdings (zu) unangenehm stark. Deswegen, und weil insgesamt das Bonusmaterial etwas mager ist, einen Punkt Abzug. Ansonsten gebe ich dieser Box 4/5 und empfehle sie jedem, der die Sammlung vervollständigen will.

送料込みで2000円弱だったので、購入しました。内容は日本版Blu-rayと同じかどうかはわかりませんが、2､3､4(復讐篇)共に日本語吹替え音声収録です。昔のTV放送版の音声を使っているので、オンエアの尺分しか日本語吹替えがありません。2のように初回放送から更に短縮されてたり(本盤の吹替えも短縮版だと思います。)、中々ややこしいです。まあ、お目当ては2の滝田ブロディだったので、短縮版は残念でしたが、入手出来て良かったです。3､4は「オマケでコレクションできればいいな」程度に考え購入しました。特典映像はなんでも「英語音声を選択しないと観れない」とかで、自分はそこはまだ未確認です。確かに日本語を選択して観た限りでは特典映像の類いの表示は出ませんでした。しかし、購入の参考にと日本版Blu-rayのレビューを読みましたが、日本語吹替えの欠落による英語音声との切り替わり対して「これって不良品？」とか「Amazonがこんな粗悪品を販売するとは」みたいなコメントが結構多くて「またそれ？」って感じでした。これってDVDにTV放送版の吹替えが収録されるようになってきた頃によく見られたコメントですよ。まぁ「ジョーズ」のようにソフト用の吹替えとTV放送版の吹替えのW収録すれば文句も少なくなると思うんですけどねぇ。個人的には「何を今更」な事であり「Amazonガー云々以前に､こんな粗悪な音声が収録された商品をユニバーサルが許可・販売してる事には突っ込まないの？」と思うんだけどねぇ。自分は「○○ロードショーの○○バージョンの吹替え」が脳に刻み込まれているので「きちんとしたプロの声優(？)を起用した新録版も収録」となったとしても「あるのなら有難い」とは思えども、やはり昔から親しんできたTV放送版を支持します。でもまぁ、こればっかりは好みの問題だからしゃあないっすね。内容はともかくとして、英語音声でしか観ない人、TV版吹替えOKな人、一応コレクションしておこうと考えている人はお得感があると思います。日本語と英語が入り混じるのに我慢ならない人や「○○ロードショーの○○バージョンなんか要らん。きちんとしたプロの声優(？)で新録しろ」という人は購入を控えた方が賢明だと思います。

What can be said about the Jaws sequels other than Jaws 2 is the only one worth really existing? haha.Seriously though, Jaws is one of my top 5 movies of all time so owning the franchise was a requirement.Jaws 2: There is no need to review the movie as everyone has seen it by now, but if you haven't it actually isn't that bad at all. Jaws 1 and 2 are definitely films I'd rewatch endless times. The special features are PACKED, seriously there is just so much for Jaws 2, just as much as the first movie has. Really enjoyed watching through. The picture quality is incredible for its age and the audio is fantastic also.Jaws 3D: In all honesty this film shouldn't even exist. It's a horrible cash in on the franchise that actually is ignored in the Jaws "4" The Revenge storyline. The 3D is unbalanced and at times we couldn't tell what we were seeing as it was just uncomfortably configured. Some moments of 3D did however look stunning, but the picture quality is awful. There is so much noise on the screen and the colours are very very bad in dark scenes. Audio is good but overall the film is a huge let down. I hoped 3D would revive my childhood excitement but it just highlights how bad the movie is, including the torpedo shark scene where the shark moves like a missile with zero tail movement lol. No extras on this disc, the 3D version is unfortunately the only extra.Jaws: The Revenge: Not called Jaws 4 as the film actually discounts Jaws 3D and continues from Jaws 2. Picture quality drastically improves on the third and audio is good too. Acting level has also gone right back up from the third. The downsides are unfortunately the story is just too much of stretch and requires a huge expending of belief to enjoy. Extras are very minimal, an alternate ending (the better harpooning ending) and the trailer. Unfortunately the movie uses the ridiculous explosion ending, despite zero explosive involved. It's a shame you can't select the ending you want to use, considering the alternate is available on the disc.Verdict: A must have for any Jaws fan, otherwise just pick up Jaws 1 and Jaws 2.
