Before buying there were no reviews for this product, but I took the chance. When I received the lights they were exactly like Home Depot, but for $7 less each. The quality was amazing! Very solid build with a nice heavy weight. I live in Las Vegas and they reminded me of resort style lights with the same quality look, style, and feel. I purchased these lights for it's slim profile due to the limited walkway space. It has an easy connector for low voltage wiring that snaps into place. I wrapped with electric tape and soaked the ground with water completely. I was working on my pavers and they have not been locked into place, so water was able to get in the joints. The lights did not short. I used 16 gauge wire on a 100ft run, connected to a 150 watt 12v landscape power supply. The stakes seem to be made in the same cast aluminum as the light. I presoaked the ground to make it easier for me to stake. Literally on my last light, the stake partially cracked around the screw collar. I'm sure it was my fault as I was trying to position the lights while fully staked in the ground. I contacted Hykolity and their customer service was great! They were very kind in sending me a part that I quickly received in 2 days! I spaced my lights exactly 5ft apart. The lights were installed flush above my pavers that were 1.77in height. The stakes were long enough for the lights to stay firmly secured into the ground. They looked amazing! I only turned them on a couple of hours to test at dusk and instantly received compliments from my neighbors. The picture with the Sun still out, the lights are not that yellow. The picture with the Sun down is the correct color appearance of the light. I purchased 3 boxes with a total of 12 lights. I plan to buy other lights from this company to complete my home lighting project. Thanks Hykolity!

These were super easy to install with the clip-on connectors. I live in a very wet climate so I wrapped each connector a few times with electrical tape to hopefully keep out the moisture. So far they look and work great. Only time will tell if they last!

My prior lights were more of a lamp, that overhung, and small birds loved to sit on them and cover them with poo. Nice. Got these, they look awesome and contemporary, WAY more stylish than my prior ones. Only consideration is that the design sends equal illumination on both sides, and I have these on the right edge of my front walkway, so light goes to the walkway, and also to the landscape on the other side. When I first looked at them I thought they were mono-directional, but I was wrong (first time for me). Not a big deal, the landscaping on the other side is fine, and they do light fairly well. Quality seems great, stakes are metal (my prior Malibu ones used cheap plastic screw-on stakes that broke easy, or wore down on the threads so sometimes they came apart and fell over). Time will tell on the overall quality, but so far I am happy, and the house looks WAY better when we drive up at night!

I purchased 7 sets (28 total) of these landscape lights. Unfortunately, 18 months later, 25% of them (7) no longer work. I contacted Hykolity for assistance on spare parts to address the problem. Hykolity customer service was slow to respond and gave me the run around without ever providing any kind of resolution. Moral of the story: "BUYER BE AWARE" if purchasing this product! You may get stuck with a bunch of junk. The stated "Worry-free 5-Year against any defect in materials under normal use and service after proper installation" is just a mirage!
