I have these battery storage boxes for each battery size. I love them. No more messy junk drawers, no more digging around for right size battery, easy to check expiration dates on batteries reserved for power outages. Just go through the appropriate containers. When there is a power outage you have your batteries grouped - grab and go. My friend has a drawer with loose batteries. He was sure he had plenty of batteries. After digging around, trying battery after battery, we discovered that all his batteries expired 10 years ago. Seriously. Never happens to me. When I buy new batteries I check all my battery containers and dispose of any batteries that expired or are soon to expire. Add different sizes to my next shopping list if necessary. Always prepared for emergency. BTW my friend bought these containers and organized his batteries. We live in Florida. Can't afford to be without working batteries.

After cleaning out my battery drawer and finding most of my Kirkland AAA had leaked, I decided to buy some battery storage boxes. After agonizing over options available online, I picked the Dial battery storage box for my C and D batteries, and they seem to be pretty good for the price. I did a "make shift container" for my remaining Kirkland AAA's for now, but I will be purchasing the Dial brand battery boxes for my Duracell AA, AAA, and 9 volt batteries in the near future. They are already on my list, ready to go!

These things work great. I don't yet know how durable they will be over the long term but they certainly do accomplish what I needed and that is efficient battery storage in the house, truck, boat and emergency bag. I have them for C and D batteries. For AAA and AA size I use 20 and 50 round cartridge boxes.

Battery manufacturers can't seem to be able to package their products so that once opened the container can be reclosed for practical storage. Although some packaging can be reclosed, the batteries will fall over and roll around when moved. This storage box is practical storage. It can be easily opened and closed, and since it's semitransparent the contents can be seen without having to open it. This type of case keeps the batteries in discrete channels so they don't easily roll around. It is not for carrying in your gear bag because the latch is not really secure. If this box rolls around, the catch can easily come open. For storage in a larger box, a drawer or cabinet this box is perfect.

Neat. Snaps shut and opens easily. Keeps batteries clean and dry, and stops them falling about in my bag, car or wherever I keep them. If I am stupid enough to leave them years past their use by date then any chemicals that leak will not contaminate anything else.
