Camlin Kokuyo could have done better
The item is exactly as described: 3 x 10-packs of 5-lead tubes of 0.9 x 60mm lead equals 150 leads.Camlin-Kokuyo could have done better with this product in atleast 2 ways:- Length of the leads - 60 mm may be an industry norm, but it's a poor one, as 0.9mm mechanical pensils can easily accept 75mm leads (available from most other manufacturers like Staedler, Bic, and Chinese Inc.)- Number of leads per tube. The volume of each tube is enough to hold 25 or more leads easy, but each tube only has 5 leads. The amount of packaging wasted on such small numbers of leads by Camlin-Kokuyo makes me think that the company doesn't think about the environment or the waste being generated by their customers due to their packaging.Lastly, the packaging is very specific to that one product line from Camlin-Kokuyo, and cannot really be reused anywhere else. It would be great for them to have some form of exchange program at their retailers for old packaging, and reusing it.Storage note: it's easy to transfer leads between tubes, and so I ended up storing 25 leads per tube into 6 tubes, and have 2 boxes of 10x empty tubes, which I have no use for (but want to return to Camlin-Kokuyo). The attached pic shows one such box I emptied.Review note: This is for the product, not a review of the marketplace seller.

0.9 mm is the best, try it
I wonder why 0.9 mm lead is not as easily available as 0.5 mm or 0.7 mm leads. It does not break, does not need sharpening. For writers and artists, this is an excellent choice. I use this lead for almost all my writing and sketching needs. A mechanical pencil with 0.9 mm lead (grades B or 2B are to be preferred) is a versatile writing instrument. You can use the best or the worst quality of paper and this lead would still work. It will cost you less than the most inexpensive of ballpoint pens. It starts instantly, no clogging. You can use it in any pencil as long as it takes a 0.9mm lead. It is not like ballpens where you have to search for refills of the same brand and size. You can buy it in bulk and use it for the next few decades, not years! You can not get a more environment-friendly writing instrument than a mechanical pencil.
