I would like to start this review by stating I tried using them outdoors, underneath my covered patio.1 - the charger/receiver is too big to install in plain sight. I have a plug at the top of my patio and its an eye sore with these installed.2 - the lights themself work great if you're installing in a single, straight run. The adapters to run multiple strands are loose, causing lights to flicker. I had to offset by electrical taping them together.3 - again, these lights are great if you're installing in a straight run. The 90 degree connector kept throwing random colors on the 2nd strand (I checked the connection multiple times) - then it went out randomly. The 2nd 90 degree adapter had a tear and was unuseable.Overall, if you're installing in a straight line, in an area that has a place to hide the plug - then this if for you. For any other installations, I would suggest going elsewhere.

installed theses under my rv to add a nice accent when camping the ip65 waterproof rating is a little under what i would like but i installed the connectors in a dry area and the controller in a dry area. been using them for 2 months no problems yet. drove through 2 rain storms and 2 ry washes still working good . the app is cool and to make music sync work and you have a iphone you need to add music from itunes from your pc or mac to your phone to get it to work. for me it was easy i have thousands of albums iv saved on my hard drive over the years. i would recommend this item, 5 starts because i was able to make it work on my unique application..

Would definitely recommend this product. Great price and wonderful features. Like the fact that I can control the times it goes off and on with the remote. And the color features and the waterproof, is great. I had other lights that did not works as well as these do

Not sure why these are markets as outdoor use when the power supply plug says indoor use only

I got these LED strip lights to illuminate a display cabinet, and they work so well! Admittedly, the length is a lot longer than I need, so I am not taking advantage of how long these strips are. Nonetheless, for this specific application, I had a great experience. I decided to use all four strips in parallel. If you wish, I believe that you can connect them in series with the included parts.To apply them to my solid wood cabinet, I peeled off the backing from as much of the strip as I needed to, and wired them through an existing hole in the back of the cabinet. This process was very easy and worked very well for wood. I did need to adjust the placement of one strip some months later, and the strip removed cleanly from the wood without damaging the finish. It also was sticky enough to re-adhere. Once I wired the lights through the back of the cabinet, I attached the remaining length to the back using some Command strips. It's nice that all four strips plug into a single outlet for convenience. When the lights are on, the strips do not get very hot, which is great for displaying sensitive objects in my cabinet.The lights can be controlled either through an app (you need to download the specific one), or by the included remote. I prefer the app because I can set my own custom colors. These strip lights are all RGB LEDs, without a true white light in there. I would have liked it if they came with a warm white option, but alas no. I have approximated my own versions of white using the app to generate custom colors, which has been satisfactory. The LEDs are quite bright if you go with a light/whitish color at max brightness. You can also run through set programs of color cycling if you wish. One option I wish these lights had would be the ability to control each strip separately, but I do not believe these strips have that option. They are all controlled by the same unit and each will be the same color. Overall, I have been quite satisfied with these LED lights since I find them easy to set up, and easy to control as well. Definitely worth considering if you need strip lights of this length.

I was disappointed in the current drop when connecting all 4 legs in series but hey, that's physics. The lights get dimmer the further away from the power supply, which is why the manufacturer includes a 4-legged connector.

My daughter is using these inside in her room, so we don't really know how waterproof they are. they adhere well, though, with the included adhesive. the app works well, and she is able to easily choose the colors and/or color combinations. She had them up where she wanted in less than an hour and they were ready to go. She's not a newbie at these led light strips, though.These are good quality and well-priced and offer 65 feet of light strip, so that's larger than some others selling at the same price.

These lights are quite bright, and the colors are bold, unlike some others on the market. The adhesive is a good-quality 3M tape, and it seems quite solid. The strips can be cut about every four inches, so there is good flexibility in installation. It comes with some connectors, but not enough to really do a ton of good... there are two 90-degree-angle connectors, as well as four butt connectors. This allows for some flexibility in installing the lights, but it would be nice to have more for the price. Being able to control the lights from an application or remote control is neat, and would be great for outdoor entertaining or parties.
