I couldn’t wait to write this review because I’m already obsessed with Miss Jessie's Coily Custard after just two days of use! I’ve tried countless curly girl-approved products, but this one has outdone them all. It’s the best I’ve used by far. My curls look shiny, defined, and bouncy without being weighed down. The product creates a nice, soft cast that holds my curls in place but doesn't feel crunchy at all, even though I used a generous amount. Some reviews mention crunchiness, but I haven’t experienced that at all—just soft, moisturized curls with zero frizz. The best part is that it doesn't make my hair heavy or greasy, just perfectly moisturized and full of life. If you're on the hunt for a product that enhances curl definition while keeping hair soft and bouncy, I highly recommend Miss Jessie's Coily Custard!

I have been looking for a lightweight cream base but it's more like a water gel. I saw this and ordered it to try it out. I don't have a lot of hair but it dries nicely and doesn't feel sticky or crunchy.The scent isn't my favorite (I use Maui coconut shampoo and conditioner). It says coconut but it smells a little more floral and feminine. But it's it so heavy I can't stand it. Hopefully it'll give my hair just enough weight so it doesn't go wild in the wind.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! No joke……if I run out of every hair product and just have coily custard…..it still works amazing! It holds my curls, doesn’t make it greasy, and I can whip my fingers through with no frizz. Second day rewetting reactivates it and brings the curls back. Some say it’s crunchy but if I distribute it evenly and brush through while it’s wet, I get no crunch. It also leaves ZERO flakes or white residue. Just love!!!

I love what this hair dressing does for my hair. The smell is wonderful and it’s not oily. My previous hair dressing was discontinued so it was imperative to replace it. I found a winner.

This is one of the curling gels that adds a bit of hold. It's not as strong as typical hair gel, but it will definitely do the job of both curling and holding the curls. It's on the heavier side so more suitable for curl types 3A and above, and definitely better if your hair is courser and thicker.
