Ordered this for our newborn baby and it is exactly what we needed. We have only used with his arms out so I cannot comment on the swaddle aspect of the suit, but he has plenty of room to grow into it length wise and the fit around his neck is perfect (helped to settle new mum/baby sleep anxiety). The zip from the bottom is so convenient for changing during the night so you’re not disturbing them too much and the quality is really good.If you have a newborn then the fit should be perfect, with plenty of time to get good use out of it hopefully.

Our baby love this the most because he can move a little bit in it and not too tight. Perfect size, and its a high quality product, perfect value for the money!

This was a gamechanger for my velcro baby who wouldn’t sleep in the crib - he is so comfy snuggled up with his arms inside and sleeps much better

Our newborn used these from birth but now we're finding it's too small for her at 4 weeks. She's now 8lb2. Given it's meant to be 0-3, that's a bit disappointing that it only lasted a month!

These are great for my newborn baby. I feel better knowing he’s in this than worrying about the blanket throughout the night. I bought 1 and 2.5 tog for use at different temperatures, will definitely buy more when he’s bigger. They wash well too.

I won't say that this changed my DD's sleeping habits. Maybe if she was swaddled from birth, I don't know, but I got her this sleeping bag for a number of reasons: 1) it was safer to put her down to sleep in this rather than using a blanket 2) I saw some comment mentioning it helped with their baby's sleep and I wanted to try. Well, I don't think it made a change in regard to her sleeping, but it was definitely coming in handy when I ended up having to co-sleep and nurse-to-sleep as she suddenly started to despise her crib at 6 weeks of age (grew out of this 2 months later and happily sleeps in her crib again which I just still can't explain HOW or WHY). I know, not recommended by anyone, but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep your sanity and at least go with it as safely as you can, so in this particular case, NO blanket for the child, use a sleeping bag instead to keep her warm while you lie on your side nursing/sleeping. And I guess she was OK with it, it has plenty of room for her legs, so she could wriggle around, not feeling restricted. I also used it as an extra layer when taking her on walks in the pram. I got the 0-3 month grobag and the 3-6 grobag. Washed multiple times, dried it in the dryer on the lowest heat setting and it didn't shrink as far as I can tell. About to require a new one now that she is turning 6 months of age and will transition into her new cot from the next-to-me crib.

Really good item, small and very thick material

Lovely soft material for newborn. However, my son is only 25th percentile so quite small for his age, but the fit is a bit tight around the chest. Also, the zip has bumps in it when you do it up, so can push up against baby's chin.
