Somewhat Disappointed
I like the size and the weight of the globes, and they don't look too bad other than one has a defect in the plastic where it appears warped and the other one arrived with numerous scratches on one side. (See attached pictures.) If I twist the globes so that the defects are in the rear, they don't show up as much, so that's what we're doing.

Glaring problem!
The globe, itself, looks fine. It is clear and not slightly tinted as it looks in the picture. The problem I have with it is that I noticed that the plants around the base of the post where the light is are turning pale yellow and dying because the sun is focused through the globe like a magnifying glass on an anthill! I'm so worried that a fire might start in the mulch that I have removed it and bought a smoke tinted globe from a different company.

Nicely manufactured lamppost globe.
Great choice when replacing an old lamppost globe or light fixture. Fits as it should with hopes of a long outdoor life.
