perfect item
exactly as described....fit my 2015 ford flex easily and smoothly, took longer to empty the glove box for access than it did to instal lthe filter!

Flimsy but fit
This filter has the cardboard on the opposite sides of the factory filter so fits in a little differently. Seemed to slide in ok.

Fits like OEM and you can tell it is thicker than the original. Do keep in mind that more filtration will reduce the volume of air going through. I can tell it is more restrictive; it is noisier and air not as powerful as before

Easy to install in 5 minutes.
Easy to install in either the Ford Taurus or the Ford Explorer. Process is slightly different, but the filter is a perfect OEM replacement that's higher quality and better performance. All you need is a flathead screwdriver to pop off the filter cover plate which is the same in both models.
