yes it does have a easel! it's absolutely gorgeous on my dad's desk. if I would have known I would have bought two. these are not the kind of frames you would find in ikea. really elegant.

5x7 picture take up entire opening. I gave it to my uncle as a gift, it is a very nice frame.
