No, really look it up on the Internet. Eating something extremely sour or bitter can help stop a panic attack. Honestly I take a prescription medication to help with anxiety attack attacks or panic attacks when they happen. Though it takes about 30 minutes for them to kick in. I’ve even tried behavioral therapy. I read an article stating that if you put something extremely sour or bitter in your mouth, that actually helps ground you pretty quickly. I thought the article was a joke and laughed about it but thought why not I like these candies anyway so I figured I’d buy them and if it didn’t work, who cares because they’re delicious. And they are delicious. And it actually worked. I started having a panic attack in the store and grabbed in my purse and quickly ripped one open and threw it in my mouth and boy it whipped me out of that situation so fast I was surprised! The shock of the sour and the immediate rush of the saliva in my mouth just threw me into a different headspace. Hopefully it continues to work because if it does, that’s pretty awesome. I know that this is a silly sounding review because it’s not just about the candy but I figured you never know who else may have anxiety issues or know somebody that has them and might want to give us a try for that reason as well, I had no clue.

These candies are amazing and exactly how I remember them from childhood. Value for the money is excellent; one bag can last you a long time. Good variety of flavors as pictured.

I bought a bunch of these 2 pounds to be honest. I figured these would be amazing I've looked for these in my convient stores but couldn't find them. I knew I would find these here. I remember eating these as a kid. My sister and I would try to fit a bunch in our mouths and try to stick it out. Kids these days just didn't like them. None of them. I couldn't understand these things were delicious. So I ate one. Amazing just like I remembered. So I ate more. About 20 or so later my mouth and tounge are freaking scorched to the state that everything I eat feels like sandpaper and lacks taste. My god. Unbeknownst to me there is a small warning lable printed INDIVIDUALLY on every wrapper telling you not to eat multiple candies in a session. Now I know, and I'm passing on the information to you here reading this.

The candy was all melted or smashed and then melted together. When you take the candy out of the package it’s all stuck to the wrapper and pieces of the wrapper are stuck in the candy from it melting

The sour only lasts for about 30 seconds then it completely disappears. The candy afterwards is very good though.
