Purchased this for my 8 year old nephew who loves all things creepy-crawly as a birthday gift. He immediately opened it up and started playing. Everyone (from the toddlers to adults) wanted a turn too. Incredibly realistic appearance.

Purchased for my wife and she loves it

I’m the type of person who always reads reviews yet never has to leave one; however, we bought this for our chameleon loving son for Christmas and the tongue stopped working within hours of him opening it. Very disappointed because it’s so cute. The whole reason we bought it was for the tongue. Don’t waste your money. Not worth it.

My son loves chameleons so we bought this for him for Christmas. The same day he got it the tongue stopped working. We tried to troubleshoot but couldn't fix it. Since we had already opened it we went directly to the seller to see if they could send a replacement. They said they would so we didn't return through Amazon. We kept checking back with them and they kept saying they already sent it. By mid-February I followed up and they said there's nothing they can do that we had already received it. What? They didn't send a tracking number, nothing, and we had not received anything. That's the first and last time I will ever try to go directly through the seller instead of just returning through Amazon. Instead they lied to us and made us wait so that we ran out of our return window through Amazon and now we have nothing but a broken toy. Terrible experience.

I take it as a sign when I see a real praying mantis. A good sign. I saw this fake one, so I had to have it. It is cute, moves nicely and overall fun! The only disappointment is that one of its antlers - antennas was clipped off, short. I can provide a photo, I just do not have it near me right now. Other than that, I love it!Mindy
