Can these hold a4 documents?

No these 11L won't store A4 docs, but they do a 17L version that does! The 17L is even big enough to store the cardboard document wallets 24x34.8cm, so you can be super organised! Wham Pack 5 Crystal 17L Box & Lid Clear P.S. I'm not a seller, it's just that I've found the 17L ones ideal, & am just looking to buy some more!

Would these work as shoe boxes for mens shoes size 44 EU / 9.5/10 UK?

Should be fine, but you might only fit one or two pairs in each box.

Are these quite sturdy or does the plastic break easily?

I’ve found them reasonably sturdy. Use them to store hoover parts, shoe polish and brushes, cleaning cloths, etc. if you don’t overload them they will be fine
