the filter is rated for one year I had to change it after 6 months as the water did not taste good

Great filters
I have been using these for years. Very impressed when I read the fact sheet on what they filter out. Sometimes our water smells horrible, sometimes brownish. These filters deliver great tasting clear water every time. Any water that we consume (Coffee, tea, soup, etc.) we make using the filtered water. Great results!
