I bought this hoping it would save me carrying separate rs232 and 485 cables, but I've ended up binning it. There's no automatic driver installation on windows 10 and 11 so you need to do it manually, the supplied drivers come on a mini cd but I haven't owned a cd drive in years. I searched on the manufacturer website but there are no drivers listed and the online chat there didn't reply to me.I eventually found a driver after much searching online, but then the rs232 wiring is non standard so I had to bodge a load of things for that. In the end I still couldn't get the Tx direction to work and I went back to an old rs232 cable instead.This cable cost me a day of work and I'll never use it again.
