This system is cool af!
Originally my brother had gotten me a Uruq countertop hydroponics system for Christmas. My plants grew to a height the system couldn't accommodate anymore so I got this plus a spider farmer light and holy crap I have never had such lush, full plants in my life! This system is nice because I like to change the water every 2 weeks or so. You can just disconnect the air hose right at the top of the basin lid and bring the whole unit where ever you want. I also like the water level detector, very easy to see when the water level has dropped even a few cm.this system encourages and caters to nice deep root systems,i really like popping the lids and looking! I wish the units came with caps for un-used pods and prevent Algae growth. I got the 4 pack, plus my light, and plant food based on a review for this product.I am brand new to hrydro ponic growing but have been gardening for over 20 years and was not disappointed.

Good starter setup for my first hydroponic gardening.
Using 2 of the 4 tubs now. I didn't install air pump due to the noise, but it isn't necessary for kraftky method. Plants are growing well, but I have to keep an eye on the growing medium that came within. It dries out and dries the plant roots even after refilling tank. I weekly re-wet it with a little bit of water. Next season I plan to use different medium. First picture is when I started and second is most recent of one of the plants in the tubs.

High quality all-in-one kit
I was really surprised with the quality of the parts in this kit. The pump is quiet and very high capacity. The seed starting trays are much nicer than the ones I use for my outdoor garden seeds, and the scissors are nice and sharp! The net pots are the same shape as the Aerogarden ones so I've been starting my plants in there and then transferring them to these buckets, though this definitely isn't necessary. I think if you have an Aerogarden and wait to take your hydroponics to the next level, this is a great kit. Some of the pictures show the water level indicators in one of the plant slots but in mine there is a separate hole for it so you can use it without losing a slot.My only complaint is that the hole for the air stone tube is in the bucket lid which makes running the tubes a little difficult and they get in the way when opening the lid.

Clones
I use them for making clones so they work good for that

Good for veggies!
Lovely kit. Easy to setup. Made a stand for all of them. Spinach loves it. Started an assortment of veggies. Tomatoes are healthy. Be sure to buy lights!!

Works well
I cut the hole side walls a little bit so the roots would have more room to spread. Work's great

Really great units, need a few improvements.
The media could not be loaded. I started a Fresno chili pepper and 3 determinant mini tomato varieties (Tiny Tim, Maskotka, Gold Nugget) from seed in an ebb and flow unit (like Aerogarden).Transferred the quickly maturing plant pods to 2 of these Lawnful DWC units in February. All indoor with LED grow lights. They are all flowering today. 8 weeks total.I like the shape, size and color very much. These are attractive and very functional units for a great price. The addition of the adjustable dual air stone setup with tubing is great too. The dropper and snippets that came with it are great, I use them everyday! The seedling dome is convenient, but doesn’t really fit the grow pods, so I used my ebb and flow system for that.I easily clone cuttings from this DWC unit, so there’s an exchange with my ebb and flow system. I currently use Qyo units and found the round cages/plant sponges are interchangeable with this great Lawnful DWC system.Things I would change:The lid. It’s difficult to snap it on/off without damaging trailing plants - which you have to do regularly because there’s no access flap or opening for readings of pH, PPM or a place to refill the units without snapping the lid off/on.There’s no lower drain hole and plug to make draining, cleaning and refilling or changing the reservoir water easy. It’s hard to do with mature plants - especially if they’re supported by a trellis , or other support, because you have to remove the bucket to clean and refill without damaging the supported plants. The air stones are super performers. Unfortunately they float up into roots because there’s no clamp or clip for them. So you’ll be needing one.The lid openings have this really deep cuff that blocks roots and airflow below the lid unnecessarily. I’m not sure a cuff that long was helpful - more so for young, less established transplants or root structures that break to the side of the grow sponges. I wish the deep cuff below the lid weren’t there. The plant sites would be better if they were standardized to net cups or plug and play with more plant cages. Neoprene cuffs would be aces (like an upgrade. There’s no staking or plant support structure.. You’ll need to rig something for that - for taller items (which is why many use DWC - the ability to grow larger).Otherwise, excellent units. I luv mine but wish there were a few changes.I see they have bundles now.I wish I had bought the 4 bucket system and 2 seedling heat mats. I would have saved some money with that bundle. I’m learning as I go that scaling up is a good idea. You eventually grow into it and it saves more. For example: 4 units, not 2. Nutrient gallons not quarts… hydro gardening is delicious and addictive! Lol.You get better and more efficient at it.

Great Compact Hydroponic System
I purchased two of these sets - a 2 bucket system and a 4 bucket system. I am using them to grow plants that are too large for my Aerogardens and Gardyn (cucumbers, strawberries, tomatoes). The system is easy to set up and my plants are doing very well. The square shape of these buckets makes better use of the limited space I have available than regular round buckets. I am using the buckets with a Spider Farmer SF-600 LED grow light on an iPower GLJMPSFOLD4 4 Feet Foldable Grow Light Stand Rack (both purchased on Amazon). The only negative has been that I have trouble getting the lids to snap on / getting the lids off to test and add water and nutrients. Overall a minor annoyance given the good qualities of the system.Bonus: Aerogarden pods fit into the holes in these buckets, so no need to mess with changing pods/net cups when moving a plant between the systems.
