For the price this is plastic not wood or even burl. Argggg.

It's really nice
I really like this metronome, but I thought it would be made out of wood for a more classic traditional look and feel. It looked like wood on the site, but when I opened the box and un-wrapped it, I noticed that it was plastic that looks like wood that's why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.It wines up and works just fine. I purchased this more for a display shelf piece for my Music room. Actually if you look at it on the shelf, it does look like a wood boxed metronome, so I think that is ok, but I really would prefer wood to be honest.
