Awesome light, especially for this price!
I have 8-10 of the high-end LED flashlights of various sizes and battery-use types. This is BY FAR the highest-quality light yet! I own Fenix, JetBeam, Olight, and Nitecore, and all are excellent, but this one is WAY above the rest in build quality! I would say the Olight is the closest in quality feel, etc. The price is VERY reasonable for the lumen output! This one is also the brightest.....but if I could have one thing different, I would make it compatible with the rechargeable 18650 batteries. This one takes only the CR123's (4), and other lights I own are able to use either CR123's or 18650's.Other than that, I have ZERO complaints!Super bright, super white light temp, excllent beam pattern.....simply the best I've used thus far.Whoever makes this light for S&W did a GREAT job!

You get what you pay for
I’m not sure what T. Parrish is talking about when he says this light has the “highest build quality,” of any light he has. I feel sorry for him if that’s true. You get from this light what you paid for it - a very very very big and heavy light that has relatively high output. For it’s size, it really should be brighter - but it’s very bright. The lens does not appear to be glass, but rather a plastic acrylic type of material. This is bad news for anybody who leaves the light on for too long - plastic melts and distorts/deforms when heated. The surface has a decent rubber texture to it, which I have never seen as a good thing for longevity. The rubber always ends up peeling or chunking off - but as I said, you’re getting what you paid for here. The “memory settings” claimed are a joke, because even Smith and Wesson does not show a manual or instructions on their site. If anybody can find a real set of factory directions, you’re probably already working at NASA.
