GenieGK-BX Intellicode Wireless Keypad 37224R

I connected it with my 20 yr old Genie system - works solid and was rather easy to install. I had to look at the video though (scan QR code) as the description in the booklet was not completely clear. Some people might figure it out without, I am sure. After looking at the video it took about 7 minutes including mounting on the wall. Other than that - works great and would by again.

Unit is easy to install - and manufacturer /producer (I.e. Genie) provides sufficient instruction and go beyond by provide on line video. Very customer friendly oriented and straightforward to business. Did not have to deal with tech support but focus at Genie provide in-advance clear and to the point videos which probably saved them much cost on dealing with incoming calls into call center and elevated customer satisfaction. So not only great product, great service. Thanks

The husband installed this within 5 minutes. I usually do all electrical items installations. I let him do the garage stuff so he feels he is helping out. He does help out a lot.

We purchased a home with an existing garage door opener. Turns out they Swapped out the opener, but never replaced the keypad to match so we had a one that wasn’t compatible. This replacement works great with genie (red Smart light) and was easy to install. Great instructions were included.

I purchased this unit because I knew it would pair with the opener - However this is the 2nd replacement keypad I've had to purchase. It doesn't hold up well, possibly because where it is mounted it is exposed to full sun and Texas heat, so that may be a factor. In any event be sure to register the unit with Genie for warranty replacements. I failed to do so the first time. The second time I didn't forget.

Works great no issues. Did not comment on tech support as I did not need to use them. Not sure what sheerness is for a rating. I had the last one for 12 years. Great product.

Although this keypad opener was advertised as using a single 9 volt battery, it requires 2-AA batteries. In colder months of weather the lower voltage batteries need replacement more often. The 9 Volt battery can withstand the cold weather elements and provides reliable service.

This was the easiest thing to replace! Thanks for making it so simple :)
