Device unrecognized no matter what USB cable or PC I use. How do you reflash the bootloader?

I had this issue. You could be using a wrong cable. Sometimes the cable is only for charging and you need a 4 pole micro usb. After that it was detected. I used it to flash firmware for a handwired keyboard so , I was able to flash it with no problem.
