TP-Link UB5A Bluetooth 5.4 USB Adapter for PC, Nano Bluetooth Dongle

Really impressed with this Bluetooth adapter. I bought it to use with unRAID and Home Assistant and it’s been working really well. The connection has been stable with no random disconnects or dropouts, and it was really easy to get working. It was basically plug and play for my setup and I didn’t need to mess around installing drivers. It also seems noticeably faster and has better range than the older Bluetooth adapter I was using. Overall, very happy with it and definitely recommend it if you’re using Bluetooth with a home server or Home Assistant.

I live in a flat and tend to move between different adjoining rooms to game, so wanted a good bluetooth dongle that could handle the long distance between the two rooms. I have tried many others and they were all useless past a certain distance and caused my controllers to disconnect midway through games (always at the worst times as well). I installed this on a long extended active USB 3 cable and placed it slap bang between the two rooms and now everything connects instantly and doesn't drop out at the most annoying times!I Drivers installed instantly with Windows 11 so no faff required. Buy this if you want a good long range and stable bluetooth dongle.

For me, it started working as soon as I plugged it in; the driver installation was instant. Works as expected for my use case. I only use it for my wireless mouse, so cannot say about the range, latency, sound quality, bandwidth or speed. All I can say is that the connection never drops and there is no lag.

My desktop PC didn't have built-in Bluetooth so I grabbed this little dongle. You literally just plug it into a spare USB port and Windows recognises it straight away. It works perfectly for connecting my wireless earbuds with zero noticeable audio lag. The only reason for 4 stars is that the range drops off quite quickly if you walk into another room through a brick wall, but if you are sitting at the desk it is flawless.

It’s pretty good, the stability is pretty good and I am not having any issues with it, the sound quality from my headphones is fine using this adapter, the latency is kinda a lot but it’s Bluetooth so obviously, the latency will be higher than 2.4ghz, the speed is alright and very easy to install! However it doesn’t support aptx as it uses a cheap mainboard and the functionality is good. Overall it’s worth the price

Really happy with the TP-Link UB5A. I'm using it with my ASUS X99 Extreme motherboard, and it's been a simple and reliable way of adding Bluetooth connectivity to my PC. I've connected several different devices through it, including my Xbox controller, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Sennheiser GSP 670 headset, and I've experienced zero connection issues with any of them. For me, setup was incredibly straightforward. I plugged the tiny adapter into a USB 3.0 port, got everything set up and it was ready to go. Since then, it's basically been one of those PC accessories that I don't have to think about – it simply works. I particularly like the nano size. It barely sticks out of the USB port compared with larger adapters, so I can leave it permanently connected without it getting in the way. It's also a nice little upgrade for an older but still perfectly capable motherboard/platform like my X99 system, allowing me to easily use modern Bluetooth accessories without needing an internal expansion card. Small, straightforward, reliable and zero connectivity problems across several of my devices. Exactly what I wanted from a Bluetooth dongle. 10/10. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bought a mini pc to play around with software etc rather than messing around with my main gaming rig. The first thing that came to light was that it had very poor Bluetooth connectivity which when looking this up on the web is quite common with this type. Now this is how I found myself buying this long range BT receiver and what a world of difference it has made, no more stuttering keyboard and mouse and much more fluid in use. If you buy one, remember to go into device manager first and right click on Bluetooth device and disable, then connect the Tp-link and download drivers from their site, this info is on a little leaflet inside the box but I’m saying this as someone who rushes through things normally but don’t when installing this otherwise your Bluetooth will get in a right pickle.

Funcionó perfectamente, lo recomiendo mucho si lo quieres usar tambien para audio.
