Is the suede upper water proof or should water be avoided?

Water Resistance Level: Not Water Resistant

Re Mens sandal......Is the weight given for the saldals for one or two sandals

I assume the weight is for both. They're light weight and rugged as I've reordered several times or bought at West Marine.

what is the return policy on this Teva Hudson sandal?

As usual, Amazon allows returns with fill refund.
