Fun, Durable and batteries last
Where to begin? Build quality is great. Materials quality is very good. Feels like good solid construction. My 4yr old son hasn't broken it. :-) Colors look realistic not cheap. Batteries last longer than expected. It has a power saver mode when someone forgets to turn it off. 1st set lasted 2 months with frequent use. It's an entertaining toy that makes realistic dino sounds. A bit loud at times if your watching TV. Some parents may not like it when you lift the tail and it farts and then laughs. I think it's funny. Kids make those sounds anyway so no harm. If the power has been left on, and it hears a sound the toy will wake up briefly make a Dino sound then go back to sleep if not played with. My son has had it 4 months now and is on to newer things. The Dino is cool looking and though not a favorite of his anymore, it looks good on the shelf. Love it, recommend it. Again good quality build, materials and coloration.

PURCHASE THIS NEW. GOT IT YESTERDAY
I had attempted to purchase this Cruncher toy for my daughter used because it was cheaper. BAD IDEA. I ordered the used one on July 28, currently, the status still shows "Shipping Now." After seeing how fast all of my other orders came in, I felt that it was time to break down and pay the full price for one, my little girl was antsy for it. I ordered it AGAIN, but this time, new, and guess what, IT CAME IN THE MAIL YESTERDAY. I can now enjoy my daughter's delight in her new toy. I CANCELLED THE OTHER ONE TODAY. Note to self, when a business is NEW, you take a chance when you place an order, they may or may not deliver, which makes for a bad first impression. However, I wish you success with your next customer.

Lots of moving parts to break.
This dino is cool but not as fun as the commercials would suggest. The first one we ordered had a plastic gear in the neck break and not lift the neck as its supposed to. Overall I can't say its worth the money.

Very disappointed. I was really praying he would work because ...
Cruncher got to my house wrapped up in paper and plastic. No box. His head and some of his neck are ripped. Very disappointed. I was really praying he would work because we paid $150 for him. I'm not returning him bec he got here just in time for my son's bday. I'm very disappointed with this purchase. He would be more $50 rather than $150. It's ridiculious to get a toy that's way used and ripped for this price. He is also missing his fish bone.

Not Happy with Cruncher
Cruncher is not easy to program. I bought this for my grandson who is terrified of it. I cannot figure out how to get it to do everything advertised and his parents have not had time to figure it out. It is put away for now so was a waste of money.

Great toy!!
I can't say enough good things about Cruncher. I bought him for my 4 year old nephew who has a ton of toys, & Cruncher has been a hit from day one. I must admit that the "farting" still causes giggles 2 months later. Also, Cruncher cries & whines & hollers if he falls over on his side or if he is being carried around by his tail. He sounds hilarious! And, he will sometimes "come alive" & charge, roaring when he has been left unattended for a while. I love his eyes. He appears to be looking at you. He has proven to be very sturdy. Would definitely recommend!

Fun....for a while
My son bought Cruncher with his birthday money. He was so excited for Cruncher to come. He was a huge hit at first, but after a while my son got bored with him. Plus teaching Cruncher tricks is pretty tricky for a 4 year old to do. He's had Cruncher for almost a year now and plays with him every now and then. It seems like the fun wore off after he learned how to make Cruncher do some things (I like to make him dance). I would recommend this toy for a die hard dinosaur loving kid to get the most for your money.
