No Star Wars fan's library is complete without this large, bountiful encyclopedia-like book. I got it for a family member who enjoys painting Star Wars mini action figures so he can see the details and colors. But, in truth, aside from the minis, he'll get a kick out of the superb detail from the plants on all the worlds to the various people populating the expanded Star Wars world. A great gift in its colorful glossy hardbound edition that I'm glad to give.

The book is a great overall encyclopedia of the multiple Star Wars movies and series over the years. The book cover everything from the planets to climates, creatures to characters and equipment to vehicles. Younger fans ( 4 and up) will love the pictures and older fans (teen and adults) will enjoy all the details.

This is dense with a lot of facts and images. Every page is beautiful. However, if you're uninterested in the helmets, binoculars, and other mundane items of Star Wars, then I'd reconsider buying it. There's a lot of interesting information from the Prequels to the Originals to the TV Shows (The Clone Wars and Rebels), but a lot of the information focuses on more common things like binoculars and types of houses and fashion. I like that nitty-gritty stuff, but some people may not. I'd recommend it to any Star Wars fan interested in those kinds of details, but those outside of that group may only be interested in a small portion of the book.

This book is absolutely incredible. Purchased for our 7 year old who has a growing love of all things starwars. Each page is packed with pictures and info about every aspect of the movie series. I cannot wait to give this to our child for Christmas. He will devour it it!

this is a great visual book for any big star wars fans. it covers everything from ships to star wars movie characters. it's great to have i think. i love the pictures and the descriptions that comes with it. i highly recommend this book for anyone that loves star wars.
