Did we need a kettle that keeps the water hot for 30 minutes? As it turned out, yes we did. As kettles go, this is a really good one, it is lightweight when empty which is a good starting point and it is no noisier than any other kettle that we have had previously. It looks good too. We don't do 'speciality' teas so the lower temperature settings won't get much use but the 90, 95, and 100 degree temperatures have been used non-stop. The 'Hold Temp' feature which you might think you won't use has also been invaluable. I get up for work at 3:30am, make myself a coffee from my pod machine and put the kettle on for my large work mug and set it to hold the temp. By the time I'm ready to leave the kettle is already hot and ready to pour. My wife also does this before she goes to work, and because I get home before her I can put the kettle on when I get home, hold the temp, and even after the 30 minutes has expired and the kettle has turned off it is still hot when she gets home and it boils in less time because this is a quick boil kettle. One thing to note with the Hold Temp feature which I personally think is a design fault. When you turn it on the Hold Temp light turns on and the base unit stays lit for 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the base unit beeps and turns off. Next time you use the kettle the Hold Temp light is still lit up, so to use it again you have to press it once to turn it off and press it again to turn it on. In my opinion the light should have turned off after the 30 minute cycle, it's not a major thing so I'm not going to be petty and deduct stars from the review. In the manual it does say to 'Press the button again to turn it off'. In summary, it looks good, boils quick, we love the different temperature settings and the Hold Temp feature, it's the kettle you didn't think you needed.

I chose the matte black version because it matches my kitchen décor perfectly, and it looks really sleek on the counter. It boils quickly — within seconds to a couple of minutes depending on how much water you’re heating — so you’re not waiting around long. One of my favourite features is the temperature selector. I drink matcha regularly, and 80°C is the ideal temperature for it. Being able to set the kettle to 80°C instead of boiling to 100°C makes a noticeable difference in flavour — it tastes smoother and less bitter compared to when I was using a standard kettle. Another feature I love is that it holds the temperature for up to 30 minutes. This is perfect if you’re like me and get distracted halfway through making a drink 😂 You don’t have to reboil it straight away. It’s also easy to wipe down and keep clean, and overall feels like a high-quality appliance. I’m really happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying more Ninja products in the future. In fact, another family member has already bought this kettle after seeing mine.

You can set exactly the temperature you want. The machine slows down before reaching it to make sure it doesn't overshoot. (sometimes it still does after stopping by a 2/3 degrees). If you want to just make your water a bit warm and not boiling, it saves tons of energy by this. Also, looks pretty good and premium on the counter.

This is a very easy controllable electric kettle. It's got good comparability and durability. It's easy to clean and heats the water which can be just a cup full to 100° all the time. You can keep it. Hold on that if you're talking and it does it for up to 10 minutes. You can also change the head settings. So if I want the shave for instance I just said it to 60° and it saves money. Saves you boiling it and it's brilliant. It's got a good visible water tube on the side so you know exactly how much is in the kettle. It fits well in the kitchen and it's very compatible. This is one of the best kettles I've ever owned. And a good price, I recommended it to several of my friends and they've all bought one as well.

The minor cosmetic issue doesn’t affect performance, and I would still highly recommend it.

Great kettle. Lightweight ideal for those with pain or joint issues, options to heat for different teas coffee or boiling temp. The photos make it look metallic it’s not it’s a matte beige/stone colour with the metallic gold at the bottom. The stone colour is plastic wipeable so won’t go streaky which the photos would make you believe and put you off. No option to turn off the noise as it beeps when setting it and when ready. Square bases makes it sit neater on the counter, perhaps not ultra sleek looking but I think it’s nice and priority for me was a good brand, reliable and lightweight.

A very good kettle, i my self prefer tea but my daughters and sons are into healthy teas if there is such a thing, functionality is very easy as you have the pre settings or you can do it yourself by a few simple steps it really is not rocket science, you can do a cup or 1.7ltr and at 3k watts it does not take long at all 2 cups in under a minute 1.7ltr under 5 but this kettle as an Achilles heel, and its the temperature probe that sits on the base inside the kettle it has a wee plastic seal around it so if you only boil what you need then this seal will fail and it leaks onto the base as my mate found out, but if you keep a small amount of water just enough to cover the seal and probe which is not lot it stops that seal leaking, just by keeping it moist may be ninja needs to take a long look at that apart from that its a cracking bit off kit looks good next to all my ninja equipment they save me a small fortune over the year 😀
