SEVEN POTIONS Natural Beard Styling Wax for Medium Hold - 1 oz, Shapes and Nourishes Without Stiffness (Woodland Harmony)

This is a great Beard Balm or (wax as they call it). I have used many balms including some high priced "styling Balms". This gives more hold than any "Heavy Duty" balm. What I like is in the can it is hard like mustache wax. Kinda hard to scrap out, I just use a tool. I have maybe a 2" beard. A nickle size amount works great for my extremely rowdy hairs. Then prepare for an arm workout because you really want to warm it up in your hands. Then I rub DOWN on top of the beard and then up from the chin. Now I have even coverage. Of course I do this a couple times. Sometimes after I apply it I might take a hair dryer to it on high heat at a medium setting (Only when I have to look extra good). That allows me to shape and tame this animal on my face. Also a huge, HUGE benefit is this stuff does not get stiff like mustache wax. If "Heavy Duty" beard balm doesn't hold enough for you or feels to greasy, this is for you! Oh, that reminds me. The heavy duty beard balms always make me feel greasy because I have to use SOOOO much. And it still only holds for half a day. Then, I still feel greasy. This stuff is leaves barely any of that feel. Think about this, you pay less for a 2 oz. heavy duty beard balm and have to use twice to three times as much for hold and deal with the greasy feeling or buy this and use half the amount of the cheaper stuff. The cost in the long run is well worth it. Trust me. For those wondering how about how easy it is to wash out, beard shampoo and a hot shower removes it all. If you don't use a beard shampoo everyday when you shower or bathe you can simply rub your fingers though your beard when you shower and that removes most of the product. When I say most of the product I mean that some is still present but not enough to stop you from oiling your beard. Also it won't mess with your pillow cases. I will buy this again.

After trying several different brands of beard wax, I came across this product and it is by far the best wax I've used. It has a pleasant scent; but for me, the number one reason I gave it 5 stars is the ease of application. Upon removing the wax from it's container, I am able to work it into my palms/fingers and it breaks down VERY quickly without fighting little pieces or chunks. It doesn't break down as quick as a balm or butter, but it's very close to doing so; and I found that my beard only requires a very small amount to hold shape for the entire day without having to reapply...phenomenal hold and impressive ease of application.

Very pleasant smell and easy to apply and use. Medium hold. High quality ingredients. Handy size for travel. If you do not need a firm hold, I highly recommend this product and company.

This is a very good product. It’s more of a Balm than a Wax and leaves beard soft and manageable. The sent, Woodland Harmony = Linseed Oil. If you’ve ever worked in a wood shop you will recognize this scent right away. I don’t mind the smell of linseed oil but I’d rather my beard didn’t smell like it. I would be open to buying a different scent but not this one again.

Quality product, quality ingredients, works great. the smell isn't awesome but also isnt off-putting, kind of pinesol/lemon pledgeish. I'll try the other scent next time. Perfect amount of hold, while softening the hair. The quality you've been looking for, and I've tried alot of awful beard products. Seven potions is great, Even the packaging is elegant, I'd even say it's very tasteful. Much hope for their other products. One pro tip, dont support those Chinese "beard brands" you've seen on here. Inferior products that will cause you all kinds of grief. Just save yourself the time and money and buy a quality product the first time, I know I've thrown away my fair share of lesser products $ unfortunately. Support these European, American, and Canadian companies. Plus it's vegan, and cruelty free.

It’s fair, not greasy but not much holding power

The first time I saw the name beard wax, I got a bit confused as I’ve used beard balm and mustache wax. Well, this is exactly what’s sound like. Beard wax! The more specific description to give is the kid of beard balm and mustache wax. The wax is exactly as advertised. It gives your beard some firm hold that doesn’t make your beard crunchy and sticky. It gives a good shape but it doesn’t sculpt. So, if you’re looking for handlebar mustaches, this beard wax won’t do the job. As said, it gives great hold but your beard remains fairly soft and it feels natural. I would say that it’s a beard balm but with better hold. A little goes a long way and I must say that the price isn’t cheap but more like fair. It’s high quality product, so yeah, you get what you pay for.

One star because negative wasn't an option. wow. So three days ago I tried this for the first time. I purchased the unscented because I don't want anything competing with my cologne. I wear expensive cologne so they deserve the stage when it comes to smell. Anyways, after applying Seven Potions to my beard I wasn't too sure I liked its base smell but it wasn't necessarily bad. Something I thought I could get used to. However, at the end of the day I noticed a smell that was not unlike actual feces permeating from my beard. A bit later and it was too much to handle so I thoroughly washed my face and beard and went to bed. In order to give it a proper chance, I tried it again two days later. And low and behold, within 4 hours of wearing it, the same awful smell started to show itself. So here I am at work in the bathroom, washing my beard in the sink with the hand soap in order to rid myself of this terrible product. Absolutely terrible. Yes waxes can contain bacteria already present. NO this is not what happened since other waxes have never done this to me. One star for attention but it doesn't deserve it.

Does what it does well middle ground between wax and paste.

First of all, with regards to the attention of a customer's needs/experience in purchasing this product, this company, Seven Potions, is unparalleled. I've never seen anything like it. The product--30 ml Beard Wax--is very good. The melt of the product, once you emulsify it in your palm or between your fingers, is exceptional. This makes it very easy to work into one's beard and the experience of the product breaking down from a thick slightly gritty paste to a smooth clear balm is a lovely and satisfying. I wish the hold was a bit stronger but frankly, I don't know what I'm looking for myself. I haven't found the product that does what I want with my beard so it's kind of an unfair criticism. The hold is high medium to strong--just not quite what I was hoping for. That being said, I would buy this product again and would recommend it to anyone. The price for the size is a bit of a barrier for me personally since I am not currently working. It is worth what they charge.

Tiene in piega, lascia morbida cmq, nessun residuo. Personalmente adoro la profumazione e rimane fino a sera. Assolutamente si.
