ManfenWomen's Hiking Boots Lightweight Waterproof Hunting Boots, Ankle Support

these boots are GREAT. i have narrow feet and these feel so supportive around my foot and ankles and hug my feet just right. i am normally a size 5.5-6, i got a size 6, they fit perfect. if you are someone with wider feet, these boots seem more on the narrow side, but you could make it work maybe with sizing up. i also have been dealing with foot pains from work because i walk on average around 12,000-15,000 steps per day walking horses back and forth and doing other things. when i put these on they comforted my pains a bit because of the compression feeling i think. i could personally easily wear both compression socks and normal socks with these boots, together.the only thing is the tongue of the boot, the material, is a little rough feeling without high socks to cover it. maybe the material could wear down over time and become softer, but to keep from your skin getting irritated in that area, i'd wear socks that go above your ankles and cushion that top of the boot. :)i would buy these again, especially for the price.

Daily wearers and for 9 hours straight on my feet doing freight (in and out of trucks/trailers); up and down ladders, operating large equipment and even the normal trail walking with dogs. Reflecting water well. They still look new, although used hard a tremendous amount. Was great getting boots that I did not have to break-in at all. I have received compliments from those stating how nice they looked and where did I purchase. I definitely plan to purchase a second pair. As mentioned in the reviews (I read before I purchased) customers that had already purchased suggested to get a whole size up from your normal size. Which was indeed accurate. I did so and they fit perfectly. Love the whole design, everything I was looking for in a boot. Super well-made and they we very reasonably priced. 😉😁😁😁

I'm glad I read the reviews. It said to order a 1/2 size bigger than you normally wear. I would say order a full size bigger if you want to wear thick socks,but I don't think you will need to wear thick socks because these boots are thermal. I bought them because I wanted them to go above my ankle I needed an 8 inch shaft. If you search for a boot with a long shaft not many go past 6 inches. I also needed something sturdy and supportive for my ankle and this does that. The sole is made for rough terrain. I just got them today and when I first put them on they felt a bit tight so if you have wide feet order wide and a size bigger than you normally wear. I like that snug fit probably until I start walking in them then I may end up with some blisters. I should've ordered a size bigger instead of the 1/2 size like some of the reviews say. Either way these are not spot on with the sizes they run smaller than normal. Which is odd because I have small feet but I had to order a size 8 and I should've ordered 8.5! I'll come back in a couple months and submit a new review. But so far they are tight but comfortable, sturdy, supportive.

Really like thse boots. However, one of the description pages for these boots warns the buyer to size up a half size. I missed that message when I first ordered these in size 9. I am very confident in the shoe sizes I wear until this purchase. Ordinarily, I wear an 8.5 in very expensive shoes and a 9 in shoes such as Steve Madden's or other brands found at DSW. In fact, I just bought several shoes in person at DSW this past week in size 9. Upon seeing the boot in Manfen's size 9, I immediately knew it was going to be way too small. When I put it on, I barely got my whole foot in length-wise. I liken Manfen's size 9 to an actual size 8 in ladies shoes. I instinctively knew these needed to be reordered in size 10, which is incredibly unusual for me. The size 10 fits great. Width-wise this boot fits me very well. However, I have a very narrow foot. Those with a wide foot may find this boot a bit tight width-wise even if they order a whole size up. Ordering a half size up from your normal size for anyone, may result in frustration as Manfen's has sized these boots incredibly small. Their 9 is truly comparable to a size 8 -- not even an 8.5.

I FEEL TERRIBLE THAT I HAVE TO RETURN THESE BOOTS THEY ARE VERY WELL MADE VERY STURDY HOWEVER THEY ARE NOT WIDE ENOUGH. I HAVE SLIGHTLY WIDE FEET DUE TO SWELLING DUE TO HEALTH PROBLEMS. EVERYTHING IS BEING MADE SMALLER TODAY DUE TO DOWNSIZING. NOT SURE IF THEY HAVE BOOTS FOR WIDE FEET BUT I WILL BE RETURNING THIS.

These are comfortable, fit well, and it was pouring rain and they didn't get wet. The only hike I've done with them thus far was around 5k so I'll report back after a longer trek, but so far so good especially for the cost!

I received my boots a few days ago. Haven't had the chance to try them on a hike (yet, will update when I do), but so far, they are really good. They are very comfortable. However, I strongly suggest that you order a size up. I did and I am glad I did cause If had order my regular size, most likely they would have been very uncomfortable, assuming they'd had fit at all. Like I said, so far so good. The quality seems very good and they are very cute. I'll be back with an update after I get to actually hike with them.

I was hesitant based on the height of the boot, but these are very comfortable to wear. Hope to break them in before a long hike
