Brought 4 of these, received quickly, boxes in good order and ALL contents inside no missing parts. Quite easy to make (helps using a tiny flat blade screwdriver to guide some lugs into place while using a rubber mallet, which is a MUST). Flimsy until fully made, pretty sturdy once they are. MDF Shelving is very thin but does the job as long as middle support bar is in place. Just hope they don't go mouldy like a few others have mentioned. Overall very happy with price paid and end result.

Purchased to store stuff during a renovation job as space was limited. A bit fiddly to assemble as they seem flimsy but once assembled the complete shelf is reasonably strong. May need a light tap in places occasionally with a rubber mallet to guide tabs in.Shelves supplied are just thin MDF, although suffice I personally would replace with thin plywood if intending for use in a detached shed or garage to the dampness in winter.

I found these racks to be of good quality for the price. I would not describe them as heavy duty, but they are quite robust when assembled. I also screwed the racks into the garage wall using the fitting provided which provides additional support. Each shelf can be fitted to a height to suit your requirements so you don't need to assemble them exactly to the drawing. I would recommend first identifying the height of the items you are going to put on each shelf and assembling them accordingly. The use of a soft mallet and flat-blade screwdriver is essential for easy assembly. Also, I would recommend that you assemble the racks somewhere with good lighting, as it can be a little difficult to identify the slots, as everything is black against black. However, this might just be a problem with my eyesight.

I ordered this and only one of the two units arrived, the other being returned to sender without explanation by the abomination that is Hermes.I needed two matching units, quickly, so went to Screwfix and bought two of their 5-Tier Galvanised Steel Rivet Shelving Unit 900 x 450 x 1800mm units. These were an absolute dream. Easy as peas to put together, with rivets and keyhole slots to put them inThey were strong, rigid, simple, and a similar price to the Songmics ones, if maybe just a smidge smaller.I then found a place to put the one Songmics unit, (having had a partial refund for the unit that was lost in the eternal fires of Hermes Hell) and went about building it. Good grief. What garbage in comparison to the Screwfix unit. They took ages to set up, the uprights kept bending under their own weight, the shelf supports were almost impossible to "slot" in (I had to use a screwdriver to open the slots wider to make sure the tongues went in ok), and once complete, the whole unit was wobbly, lightweight and flimsy. I've screwed it to the wall, but I don't see it lasting under much pressure. Compared to the Screwfix unit, it's just nowhere near as good.(It's also worth noting the Screwfix ones are currently on offer at 3 for £140)

I bought these shelves for storage in an understairs cupboard. They fit perfect and help to organise a limited space.Just bought some more, they are affordable and sturdy.

They are good value for money, if you are using them for vibration or heavy duty stuff id say to defo drill them to a wall as they are a bit flexible but okay when weighted down. The shelf slats they provide are thin bits of mdf or something, not very sturdy, so you may want to double up or replace those

These have been fantastic! They were easy to put together and look good. Once you get some weight on the unit it becomes very stable and I'm very happy with mine. They have lots of room on each shelf for anything you could possibly need it for. Brilliant purchase, would definitely recommend!
