Today the LED lights were installed in the shower niche. They seemed to be easy to install and clamp to the railing. We had to download Emma app from the App Store to seat the desired color or function. The plumber is working on that. I hope they last long and make my shower look nice.

I’ve had these lights for about a year now and just installed them. So easy! However it says that they trimmable. I was under the impression that the trimmed part would still work. It doesn’t. However when I just touch the light strip a little beam of green or blue shows up and it was even turned on. Are those pieces just discarded and no good? I now have a strip in my room where there’s so color! Looks tacky!

I love these smart lights. I put them under my kitchen cabinets and they look great. I love how you can change the colors and set these on a schedule if you want. The only one thing I would say I didn’t like is how wasteful it is once you cut them ti the length you need. Like I only needed about half the size and ended up throwing the rest out since it’s useless afterwards. It would be nice if they gave you another connector end

The media could not be loaded. This product is a must have!!! Came in excellent Condition. I loovveeeee it, it's perfecf for any mood. Its helps you to feel relaxed when you get overstimulated. I highly recommend 👍👍🥰

Dealing with the TP-Link for any warranty issue is just a nightmare. I have four strips and after a few months one of them stopped emitting any warm colors like red, while the cooler colors like green or blue worked. I contacted their tech support and after trying to debug for a while he said the item is defective and they will approve a RMA.After a day I got an email saying I need to send them the defective unit to them before they send a replacement and I had to pay for sending them the defective unit.I did that. After a day or so they contacted me saying that the unit was cut incorrectly. I pointed out how it was cut and it it worked correctly for many months and still works but only certain colors fail.Then I got an email saying they now agree it was cut properly but THEY CANNOT GIVE A REPLACEMENT AS THE UNIT WAS CUT. I pointed out to them that this is supposed to be cut to your use and it is said so in the description. They would not accept that answer. This is their actual email:------Hi Anil,Yes after further review our supervisor did see that it was cut properly. The previous conclusion was based on an older light strip product that specifically instructed cuts not to be on the copper. However, that said management did conclude cutting, while it is an option, is a modification of the hardware and thus does not qualify for a warranty service.Any defects or damages caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper installation or maintenance, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), neglect, disassembly, alterations to the hardware or supporting setting files, servicing other than by TP-Link USA authorized technicians, and external causes such as, but not limited to, natural disaster, water damage, extreme thermal or environmental conditions.This would be no different than a customer who loads a 3rd party firmware on their router. The media could not be loaded. I never understood the hype of having lightstrips, but I do now! It adds a vibe to your space. I have Google devices, so I can ask Google to turn it off/on. You can also add Google to change the color for you. If you have Alexa, I'm sure it can do the same. You can also change these features in the Kasa app i.e. color intensity, specific colors, and scenes where they change between colors. I can't do fast moving colors (so color changing based on the scenes you're watching on the TV) as it will make me nauseous, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could set this up like that. Set up was easy. Just make sure you measure the length that you need and that you cut it correctly. Once you cut, there's no going back.
