I thought the "three" meant that there were three button batteries shrink wrapped to make a single battery. It is nine button batteries shrink wrapped to make three batteries.

I tried to make a SLEEVE BUT It's just not worth the trouble; BUY THESE.
fits perfect; the source batteries, WITHOUT the insulating SLEEVE, are WORTHLESS as they SHORT-OUT within the laser. AND THEY COST MUCH MORE.... don't be fooled by local battery dealers; get these with the precious SLEEVE; I tried to make a SLEEVE BUT couldn't with my old hands. It's just not worth the trouble; BUY THESE.

It took a long time to receive purchase but other than that it is a great deal! Note: For those using these batteries in the Dry Fire Lazer make sure you take the battery out of the device when not in use or you'll be ordering these regularly.
