Really well manufactured by a great name as Boss. If you're a non techie you can use the 100 presets that are already built in. You can also easily download lots of presets for free on Boss Tone Studio.For the adventurous there are infinite sounds that can be created from the many built in amps, cabs & effects.There is a lot of helpful online video content too.If I was to give a small criticism I would like to see specific amp models included using their actual names rather than a Boss equivalent name. I have been using Amplitude up to now & they have the actual amp names which I can relate to better.However the GX100 has a brilliant touch screen & infinite potential to set up the pedals. I can highly recommend it. There is no need to spend 2 or 3 times as much on the high end options for 99% of us guitar players.

I've been struggling with a string of expensive Boss pedals, trying to get a decent sound on my guitars. Everything sounded cheap and nasty. No matter what I tried. Got this as a last hope and it is awesome. Best effects pedal I've ever bought. Finally I sound almost professional. Absolutely love it!

Absolutely love it, it's a beast straight out the box but it really shines when you dig in and start looking at all the settings.As an intermediate player (love Metallica, will never be able to play Animals as Leaders), this is perfect for me.Easy interface (screen is crystal clear), easy to use on a laptop, only gripe is that it doesn't bluetooth (with the dongle) to a laptop, just to a phone/tablet which does work perfectly. But if I ever get it to Bluetooth to a laptop, I shall amend this review.I could go on all day but in short, if you're in the market for something like this, then I wholeheartedly recommend it. I've always played acoustic fingerstyle but wanted to expand my electric beyond just the guitar and amp; this is enough as is without being overwhelming, but also offers a lot more if you want to get into it and create your own sounds.

It's pretty good. I think I liked it more on the day I got it than I do now!I have lots of gear and a set of pedals that I'm really happy with - why did I buy it? I wanted a pitch shift + harmony pedal. I was also interested in the slow gear effect. I thought that it was worth spending the extra few quid to get the full boss collection over buying the extra pedals I wanted for occasional use. So is it the full Boss collection? - not really. The sounds are good but the function of some of the pedals is limited compared to having the actual pedal. The harmonist is a good/bad example of this. The presets are terrible and to unlock the capability of this unit you have to build your own patches. When you get it right, it sounds really good - especially on headphones in stereo. It's frustrating that they didn't include Bluetooth as standard and it's worth buying the Bluetooth as it is much easier to build patches on your phone or tablet. The app is really good and less clunky than using the touchscreen- I don't understand why they didn't use a better touchscreen on the device itself. The steps to programme it are more intuitive on the app.I will probably only use it occasionally but it will do what I need when I do.

Excellent value for the amount of useability this unit gives you. Sounds are excellent. Easy to program and you can build incredibly complex patch and switching options incorporating all the foot switches if needed, some even patched to do two tasks.It is the first multi effects I've seen where you aren't limited in effect order or number. Want 5 distortion types, you can have it. All choruses, delays and reverbs, you can have it. Any order. You can have that too. I am only currently scratching the surface of what the unit can do.

This pedal is unbelievable. Tones are easy to dial in and settings easy to use. I upgraded to the Boss GX100 after selling my previous Boss GT1 pedal and this didn't disappoint. Has tones and functionality usually on processors twice the price A*****

bought this as a late xmas present, I haven't scratched the surface of what it is capable of. the touch screen is a handy way of altering effects although there are buttons that can change settings iff you prefer, the sound quality exceeds that of my other boss pedalboard (ME 80) , it did cost a lot more though but I feel that it's worth it. the expression pedal does feel a bit cheap but you get a lot for your money and this pedal is a bonus . no regrets on buying this monster.
