I use this extension to have an old iPad streaming music through the Apple adapter, a toslink optical cable and a tube DAC. Music then goes to mark Levinson and big speakers. It works. Be sure to have the iPad connected to a fast wifi so no dropouts. Camera adapter is also connected to a usb power supply so the device gets charged too !!Very happy. Finally I can stay on the couch and control the stereo remotely without useless and expensive streamers.

Yes, this is an extender. Makes it so I don’t have to remove case using other product in my phone lightning port. Problem is, what do I do with it when not needed? No way to keep safe/protected/keep track of. I will probably lose both before I need to use again.

Worked out of the box. No problems. Couldn't dock my iPhone because of the exterior case. This small extension remedies that perfectly.
