Makes My Car Look Like New Every Time
My Go-To Product forI’ve been using this for years and it always makes my car look amazing. It brings back the shine and makes the paint look fresh, like it just came out of the showroom. It also does a great job of removing little scratches and marks that happen over time. I usually apply it by hand, and it’s easy to use—you don’t need to be a professional to get great results. Every time I finish, my car looks cleaner, shinier, and just better overall. This is one product I always keep on hand because I know it works. Restoring Car Paint

From an oxidized matte finish to a glossy almost new look
I neglected my 2000 Ford Ranger(white) for over 5 years of sitting outside in the Florida sun and rain. The truck was green with mold which had to be scrubbed off with a brush. There was no shine to the finish and water immediately wet the entire surface without a single bead. I purchased the Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax after watching a Youtube video on the differences between the Mequiar’s Ultimate Compound and the old school TW brand. The results are simply amazing. I followed the instructions to the letter, using a HF DA, doing 2 sq. feet at a time. The finish immediately improved with the Ultimate compound (3-4 overlapping passes). The surface was smooth and shiny but not veryglassy until I used the Ultimate polish (3-4 overlapping passes). You can actually feel the difference in the surface after apply the Ultimate polish and the color is richer and deeper. You need to immediately wipe the polish off, do not let it dry on the surface, it will be difficult to remove. Wetting it down with a water mist will help should you not remove it before it dries. The Ultimate wax is unique and does not really leave any “white haze” and you start to wonder if you applied any wax or not to that area, but the water bead is as good as any other wax. This lack of white haze is nice because it does not make your rubber trim white as with other traditional waxes. 20oz of Ultimate compound and polish covered my Ranger and Volvo. The wax came 16oz and I needed a few more oz’s to finish the 2nd car. Overall, the Mequiar’s three step system is a little higher in cost but worth every penny.

Great results, but removal should be easier
Application was easy. However didn't remove the swirls as I hoped. I guess I will have to use compound first the next time. But removing it...omg it takes some serious rubbing to get it off the paint again, so I have to deduct one star for this. However, result turned out great and I love the deep shine, so 4 stars are deserved

Deep black and shiny
Used this with a DA and pads I purchased off of Amazon. It's been 3 weeks and the black 2016 civic looks better than when I purchased it brand new off the lot. The black is deep and super shiny. I did claybar the car first using Meguiar's claybar kit to remove debris and impurities. Polishing took me about 4 hrs but I took my time and got in every cranny. I even used this on exterior plastic pieces and they look great weeks later. I highly recommend getting the Meguiar's brand yellow microfiber towels as they are much softer than other brands. This is not the time to skimp on materials and put swirls into your paint which I have experienced from other yellow microfiber towels. Spend the extra few dollars on good quality microfiber towels.

Won't remove scratches, but will deepen the colors and add gloss after compounding.
I used both this product and the Meguires compound as well on 3 different vehicles. My opinion is this product is extremely mild will not remove scratches. Use the slightly stronger "Meguiers Ultimate compound" for that, then follow up with this polishing product to bring out the gloss and richness of the color. If you use a DA polisher, it's foolproof, you don't need to be experienced and it would be hard to actually damage your paint, but watch a couple of Youtube videos to get a sense of things first. Lastly I believe these are products designed to be safe for inexperienced consumers, and remove the millions of "glare scratches" but not really make the paint perfect from more significant scratches. I liked the product, but you should understand it prioritizes safety over efficacy.

Not sure I can recommend this product.
I used this on a 2003 F250 with dark green paint. First I buffed it out with the Ultimate compound and the paint ended up looking like new. For extra gloss I decided to use the Ultimate polish. I applied this with a DA polisher inside my garage at a temperature of 58 degrees. I removed it while it was still wet and it is still impossible to remove all of it without leaving hazy spots. When they say do not let dry they are not kidding!! I had to use Final Inspection spray to remove the haze. I tried it the next day when it was a few degrees lower and a little more humid and it was easier to use. I cannot imagine trying to apply this in warm, dry weather. The polish added a little gloss and depth. I may not buy it again.
