Have a lazy boy sofa old style with bolt and locking latches. Due to the play in this system and my aggressive playing dogs the threads got worn out and the system ultimately failed and our sectional wouldn't stay together anymore. Thank God for these! After installing, it is actually easier to disconnect and connect the sectional now for cleaning underneath, so huge plus. Also these have 0 play, each section is pretty snug and barley budges so my dogs have not been able to wear it out and by the looks of it, might be many years if they do.

I bought these a while ago and just got around to installing them. They are very easy to install and slot together and are much better/sturdier than the hardware my sofa came with.

Our $5,500 sofa from Crate & Barrel was delivered and to our surprise it did not come with joining hardware, despite the promise from the salesperson. So the corner piece would slide any time it was sat in. Luckily I found these super cheap and easy to install brackets! In about 20 minutes I measured, test fit, screwed in, and set the sofas together, locked in place. I was worried about the gaps they might create between the sections if they were too thick. These things are about a1/4” deep so if there is any fabric thickness, they eat that up and fit very snug.
