Works well. I filled a large cavity of rotted wood in a decorative beam. The two plastic containers are surprisingly light which left me wondering whether they were properly filled. They were. Consistency is like dough. Mix the two very thoroughly by kneading, folding and pressing. Then you have about 20 minutes to work it and shape it. I found it best to mix only a fist-sized blob (or less) at a time. In a few hours it's quite hard. Some reviewers have noted that it doesn't want to stick to wood. It's not like conventional two-part epoxy--it does not "wet" the surface it touches. The trick to make it stick is strong pressure. Rub an initial thin layer very firmly with your gloved fingers and it will stick and stay in place. Then you can add more for depth. It can be difficult to lay down a smooth surface but once it's hard, it sands nicely. I used a high-speed rotary hand sander 12 hours after applying.

I'm a painting contractor. I do a lot of wood repairs. This stuff is a game changer. takes a minute to learn what you're doing but once you get it figured out it will save you hours.

The two step process of Abatron Wood Restorer and wood Epoxy is ideal to replace and repair wood. That said, the epoxy compound is a bit hard to mold into detail shapes and a result, rough and finishing sanding is required to make sure the product is finished to the dimensions you need. It is strong, durable and finishes well. I have used over 2 gallons of the material and would buy it again to repair any wood.

This in an interesting product to work with. I really like how hard it gets after it's cured and it's easy to mold once hard. The only drawback I had was working with it is more difficult than a lot of products I've used for the past 50 years plus. I found I had to mix this by hand, similar to kneading bread, and then apply it with my hand's vs a putty knife or similar item. You definitely want to wear gloves while working with this and it gets pretty messy. In the end, it's a great product and I really find it useful to have on hand for filling large holes, etc.

Expensive but works well. I would use this product again if the job calls for it.

No stars, but needed to select one to review. Unfortunately, I received opened containers with both (2) Part B and no Part A which made it useless as you need to mix both parts for the product to work. The product was also dried out somewhat as it shrunk within the sides of the container.

Love this stuff! Hard as a rock when cured. Easy to work with. Well worth it

This stuff is great (along with their liquid epoxy) for repairing the wood siding I've taken off my 160 year old house. Just be careful not to cross-contaminate the two containers, or the white component will get lumpy.

Great value. We're restoring a Queenslander with a bunch of wood rot. After lots of research, I landed with this product. It's expensive, but in the bigger quantities, you do get a fairly good amount and it does go a long way. Light and strong. Highly recommended.
