Love this display stand for my Bible

We have a home altar, where we often pray. It is the focus of our home, and we sometimes gaze at the Cross while praying. The Holy Bible is front and center on that home altar, and this stand props it up. I love that it's adjustable, and NOT plastic, or something worse. It's actually really pretty, although my Bible is so big you can't see it :) This could be used for cookbooks as well, especially since you can adjust the height. It's really quite strong, and I have no worries whatsoever that it will ever break.

I was needing something to display a large Bible we have in the Foyer of our church at an angel where the words can be read. This is perfect and beautiful.

The stand is pretty, and will work as our Altar Book stand for Lenten Eucharist. The box arrived rather battered, but the stand wasn’t damaged. The hinges, however, were off center from the hinge grooves in the wood and the screws were loose. I had not seen the comments about termites — but will be watching closely! While this is a lovely, affordable piece, you probably want to consider other options.

This Bible stand is beautiful, sturdy, perfect size and affordable! My husband has this on his desk in his office. His office is decorated in an old fashioned "sepia" baseball theme and this goes perfectly!! He uses it everyday and loves it!!

After receiving this product it was covered in what I thought at the time was saw dust. I was disappointed that it was shipped so dirty but after cleaning it up it was really quite beautiful. So I put it out displaying our family Bible on it and was pleased with it. But I kept finding piles of dust underneath it. I would clean them up and thought maybe it was just saw dust falling off from the carving. But it kept happening even after I throughly cleaned it. After doing some research I now realize that it is infested with some kind of termite or postpowder beetle! And the sawdust like powder is actually droppings! Ewww!! I threw it out and am so disappointed now that it’s been in my house so long. I really hope nothing else in my house has been affected by this. I wish I had read some of the other reviews before buying this. Buyer Beware!

This is a beautiful product and the finish was fine. The only problem didn't become apparent until a month or two after purchase. We began to notice several small piles of fine dust under the stand and closer inspection showed it was caused by wood borers, small insects about 1/4" long. They emerged out of small holes. We tried a few chemical pesticides but they didn't get all of them. The problem was finally solved by placing the holder into a 140 degree oven for 1/2 hour, but that did destroy the finish. The price was fine, it does a great job but it may contain an insect infestation.

I bought this for my mother but I might honestly buy one for myself it’s so lovely. There’s 3 different angles you can put it at so you can use it as a stand or even use to while you’re reading
