This airstone is great,it put's out an unbelievable amount of air! It puts out air all 360 degrees around the circle and the bubbles range from small to extremely tiny as they should for the greatest amount of oxygen dissolving/absorbing into the water. It put's out so much air that in my 10 gallon tank it creates an uprising eddie in the middle of the tank and it swells and bubbles out ward at the top in a 360 degree formation creating an amazing amount of current on the top of the water as well as deeper down in the tank,it actually circulates the water thru out the entire tank,very nice. The lites are a nice touch,they only work well at night when all other light are out as there just tiny and only illuminate so much,but the lites are very relaxing and make a beautiful colum of colored bubbles.My fish is extremely relaxed and happy again after only a few days having it in his tank,he was previously very stressed and not doing well,after putting this air stone and lights in his tank he is relaxed and very happy and swims thru the lights and bubbles non stop. It cost a little more than it should for the size I think TBH,but I am very pleased with the purchuse anyway because the results achieved are well past what my expectations where.

I like this item enough to keep it, even though the suction pads don't do much to keep this item down. Every time I go downstairs (that's where the tank is) I see that it has detached from the bottom and is hanging on the side. I tried to put the river pebbles on the base as much as I could to keep it down but to no avail. It comes with a suction cup that holds the cord to the side but it doesn't do too much except keep the cord close to the tank walls. I did notice that the colored lights weren't on one time I checked on it and thought it had broken already, but when I checked on it later they came back on. Perhaps the lights turn on in cycles? It emits a nice curtain of small bubbles that's pleasing to the eye, especially with the colored lights. Despite it's inability to stay stuck to the bottom of the tank I like this item enough to keep it. Still much better than my standard bubbler I had.

I have ordered 3 of these to replace 2 older stones that I had for 2 + years of the same exact model that had just worn out and needed to be replaced. On the new ones, only a portion of the stone allows air bubbles through. The third order was actually a replacement for the 1st 2 I ordered thinking I had received a defective product( it was easier to replace 1 to verify if it was defective or just poor quality). I say purchased 3 because I have yet to return the 1 I requested a replacement for and not sure if too much time has passed for the return....we'll see when I locate the return label. It turns out all 3 have the same issues. The posted pictures are with the air pump turned all the way up which I never had to do with the old ones these replaced. And yes, I soaked these overnight prior to installing and even gave them a good scrub to break loose any dirt and or stone particles blocking the air holes.....it didn't work. The price is great but only if the items actually worked like they are supposed to. I will have to purchase a different product to replace the ones I have received.

I had wanted a bubbler and went to one of the pet stores. They sold me the tubing, airstone, and motor. I have a 10-gallon aquarium at work which has substrate as well as pebble as the ground. The airstone kept coming out, no matter how deep or how many ornaments I put on top of it. I finally found this one from Amazon, which has a suction cup to adhere it to the glass, great idea! It works wonderfully and the bubbles are fantastic, better for the fish and very appealing to people enjoying the fish! I love it!

I went cheep. Im paying for that now. I didn't realize that there was no way to control the lighting. That sucked. The suction cup is about useless. The suction cup is a free cup so literally there is no way to position this disk at all. It lifts on the side where the air tube connects. My husband told me to wait until it gets waterlogged, it has been two months now it's not waterlogged and still lifting and driving me absolutely out of my mind. I tried to put a small cave on top of it just to get it to stick to the bottom and that looked even worse. It stayed but the Optics were ridiculous. It took me 3 hours to finally try every possible way to get this thing not to flip sideways and I could not do it I ended up throwing it on the ground out of complete exhaustion and frustration, breaking it and throwing it out. Pay those extra couple of dollars for a better one because this is not worth it unless you want high blood pressure.

I used it in an aquarium alongside my pet axolotl as another source of air for the aquarium, I routed the air line and power wire underneath the sand, of course given it was in an aquarium that was using sand instead of gravel or stones it does the sand to be frequently cleaned out of the air stone but it works very well for lighting the aquarium, If i ever get a bigger aquarium I will likely get a second one for the other side of the tank, it's a great product overall if your looking for something to add a bit more light to your aquarium.

I bought this bubbler to replace the one that came with a volcano ornament I bought last year. It fits perfectly and works great! The little suction cups actually stick well to the glass, the lights are multicolored and change automatically, and the bubbles agitate the surface to allow for great oxygen exchange without being too disruptive to the fish. Very happy with this purchase.

It works as advertised, works well, very nice ambiance to the aquarium, the colored LEDs interchange slowly, you can add a valve to reduce the bubbles if you want. Yes I recommend this item.
