These worked great for us on August 21, 2017. We viewed the solar eclipse from near Columbia, South Carolina and the experience was well worth the effort and travel we put in. We are looking forward to 2024 and will definitely be there again to view the total solar eclipse (likely we'll be in Vermont this time). Well sized, perfectly tinted. My son and I went out in the back yard to try these out just looking at the sun. They appear to work perfectly. My son was impressed that he could look right at the sun and not get blinded. These will be perfect for the eclipse in August.

These glasses are excellent. They have the proper ISO information printed on the sides, have good lenses, and arrived without being damaged or bent. Amazon shipped them in a very large, long box to ensure this.I tested them by looking at the sun for several minutes and experienced no ill effects. I do occasional welding, so I'm well aware of what it feels like when you get UV damage from an arc.

I bought these for the upcoming eclipse, but it's pretty interesting to be able to look directly at the sun on normal days. They fit well and work.

The partial eclipse hasn't arrived to my area yet, but I tested the glasses on the midday sun. It works just as pictured in various photos, where the sun shows up as a bright ball in a dark field. Since these are cardboard frames, not sure if they will stay on my head without tying the ends together, but what the heck, the price is right and the lenses are certified and made by a specialty US company.

These were great. Legit. We ordered super early (because I am nerdy when it comes to this).Here's my real review: GO TO TOTALITY IN 2024!!! It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! My kids will be grown in 24, but they both said no matter where they are in the world we will be going somewhere to watch totality.If the glasses kept you from getting into it last month, order these now and get ready for seven years from now.

I was looking for a "Made in America" product for viewing the upcoming eclipse, and these came at a good price, arrived promptly, and will allow me to share the rest of the lot with friends who also want to view the event. I like the "orbits" print, as well.

Still waiting for the big eclipse, but tested these by just looking at the sun. Amazingly, they work very well. Otherwise, you can't see a thing through these.
