This is a great crate for our 25 lb mini American Shepard. It is easy to set up and take down. I would size up for bigger dogs but for a medium sized dog it provides plenty of room for our dog to move around and get comfy. It is sturdy and the locking mechanism is designed for easy use. My dog hasn’t tried to break out so we haven’t tested the strength of the door yet and hopefully never will. It is easy to clean too if there are treat crumbs or water that spills in it. The pan slides out the front so you can clean it out and put back in easily.

My husband & I have used several kennels over the years for our dogs. This specific Amazon Basics kennel has the best craftsmanship & quality, is roomy (we always buy the next size up per the size charts so our dogs are comfortable & can sprawl out- this also ensures we have the room to add a pillow to the bottom, & 2 throw sized blankets). These kennels LAST, we've had them several years & travel with them- & now we added an additional one as our pup is now an adult. If you're traveling, they're super easy to fold & set up quickly. We highly recommend these & have zero issues or concerns with them

We needed a bigger kennel for our black lab, Stella, to stretch out in. This was the perfect size for the area in our bedroom. It was taller, wider and longer than the one we previously had. Even a few inches made a big difference. We especially love the door handles. They are easy to open and close and very secure. The kennel itself was extremely easy to set-up. Sturdy and great quality!

Purchased this crate for our doodle after he was a couple months old (used old Yorkie crate at first) and it was easy to assemble. The stages center piece was a little difficult to move back each time but I'm sure that is for safety reasons so the dog doesn't accidentally move it. It's good quality, pretty sturdy, not a bad price, we wanted to install casters so attached a piece of plywood on the bottom to make it even more sturdy. Rolls right to the front door now for doggie daycare pick up.

Excellent kennel at a very fair price. Love how you can easily open or close the doors with one hand AND that it has two doors. Even though they are easy for a human to open, they are secure and would be difficult for a dog to open accidentally. They offer several different sizes and this one is just right. Seems well made.

I’ve never bought a dog crate before, so this was absolutely new to me. I don’t have a lot of space, so I needed ones that I could fold up and put away as I needed to.Unboxing them and putting them together was a chore for me! The directions were useless and the videos really didn’t show me step by step like I needed. I did go over to YouTube and found the basic directions these contraptions were supposed to be unfolding to. Everyone’s opened nice and neatly with no problems. I found myself in the floor wrestling with the thing! Then I realized, all the little clip overs parts had stuck in places they weren’t supposed to during the shipping process. Don’t be afraid to push and pull as you’re putting this together. There was one that was stuck so tightly, I did think I was going to have to use a screwdriver to pry it open a little, but with a little more pushing and pulling, it came free. The second one I had to put together was a little easier but still had to push and pull.I think these are going to work great. They are very sturdy. I would probably buy them again if I needed another. I was able to assemble these alone but needed to prop up a side to fully assemble. I don’t think I’m going to fold them up and store them like I thought I would. I gave 4 stars just because there were not adequate directions or a video.

The product is sturdy, built with quality, and wasn’t difficult to assemble. I’ve had this item for two weeks and my 3 year old 12lbs Yorkie fits comfortably in it and he’s able to turn around and lie down without any issues. Don’t mind if he looks sad to you in this photo. 🐶 He went from a large play pin jumping up and down to this. However, I leave the door open for his comfort as he adjusts to the kennel. He’s doing well by the way.🙂 So far it appears safe for him and I’m very pleased about that. I paid a better price for this item because the others I was searching for in the pet stores were more expensive. So glad I did my research! This item completely folds down and is easy to carry or store when traveling.

Love this crate - the dog does too. I have a Border collie pup and she is going to grow into this space, so I used the divider to help with crate training.PROS - tall and roomy; feels less confining; the locks are doggie proof. I love the tray - it is easy to clean and I used pee pads to line it during her first week with us. She learned quickly and doesn't need them anymore (week 3).CONS - sometimes the lock's spring is very tight, but it's not always a bad thing.
