Brach's Star Brites, Peppermint, Individually Wrapped, Made with Real Peppermint Oil, 64oz

My grandparents and parents used to give us (children of the 70s) this exact brand of peppermints as a sweet treat in church as long as we were good. I used to give them to my children to have them settle down in long car rides. And now, my son and daughter-in-law have continued this traditional method of rewarding the grand babies when they have been on their best behavior. Of course, they are heavily monitored to ensure that they do not choke on them. Enjoy old fashioned hard candy that has been around for several generations with what taste like the same simple recipe that I remember from the 1970s. Stay healthy and take care.

You can never beat the classic Brach's Star Brites Peppermint. No other remdition comes close to the taste of this product.

This is actually the real thing which is hard to find these days when all of the stuff is made over as an image, but then taste awful. This is really GOOD.

My favorite candy as I take a medicine that dries my mouth and this candy is helpful in restoring mouth moisture.

As expected, those peppermints are my favorite, love that it's a 4 lb bag. No complaints.

These are pretty much as tasty as I recalled in the past. The mint is strong, but not to strong. They are all individually wrapped, which I like. But some of the wrappers don't have enough adhesive and come undone in the bag. So watch out for loose unwrapped ones. But they don't melt in the bag at room temperature, so the loose ones shouldn't stick to your hands. However, I would seal the bags real tight to avoid any pests being attracted to the smell maybe. (I use a GripStic bag sealer for mine)
