Beautiful And Intuitive Watch!
This is a beautiful watch. Be warned the face is fairly large however I have large wrists so it looks good. I imagine if you have smaller wrists it may seem a little unproportioned. I have been looking at buying it over the course of the last 2 or 3 months, reading other people's reviews and getting other peoples thoughts on YouTube about it.I noticed a few other reviewers on Amazon saying that the watch has issues pairing so that was concerning to me, but I took the risk anyways and am glad I did. I have not had any issues with the software side of things yet.I bought this watch not only because I liked the look of it, but primarily because it doesn't require charging like a regular smartwatch. I have owned several Samsung smartwatches in the past such as the Gear Fit, Fit 2, Gear S, Gear S2, and Gear S3, and I always hated having to remember to charge the device at the end of each night, or after a couple of nights. I love that this watch just uses a traditional watch battery. The only thing I had somewhat of an issue with was adjusting the watch band, but I suspect this is on me because I have never owned a traditional watch before, so it took a little work figuring out how to take out the pins to remove links and then reset the pin to make it fit, but that wasn't too difficult. As far as the smar capability, I think it is perfect for me. In the past with the smartwatches I've owned, there was always a digital display that would allow me to read text messages, send texts, answer calls, etc. but I've never needed to do that much. I've always just wanted to know when I get a text, and control my music. This watch fits the bill perfectly. The Fossil App was very simple to get the watch setup and paired with my phone, and from there I programmed the buttons on the side to control my music, and I assigned my contacts to people who are important to me. It has some additional button features too such as commute time, mode toggle, etc. but I really only needed the music and the notifications. All in all this is a great product, and if you're looking for a very nice watch first, and only need a minimal number of tasks to accomplish, definitely look into this one. If you're looking for more functionality like sending reading texts off of your watch, definitely look at a true smartwatch like the Samsung watches, the Android wear watches, or the Apple watches.

Excellent Smart Watch...........IF what it has -is all you want in a smart watch.
Pros1. The battery life is incredible, after a month and a half of use it's at 97%. No charging necessary. Expect a year life before replacement.2. Waterproof. I fish and swim from a kayak. No worries. I don't know of another smart watch that is this waterproof for this price.3. Intermittent fasting 8/16. I set alarms for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a 8 hour window.4. Control of blue tooth speakers or headphones, volume up and down, and skip. There are other control settings but I don't use them.5. Notifications of email and text, in total or by individual contacts.6. Counts steps. I keep mine set to 10K scale.7. Simplicity, a smart watch that doesn't look like a smartwatch.Cons1. It's a bit heavy (probably the battery), but after a few days I did not even notice it.2. The App is eh, but it works.3. The (pros) features above are just about all it has, but then again that is all I want and need. The first two things, battery and waterproof for me are necessary, and I like the look.

Great Hybrid Watch
Very attractive watch with good functionality.I was looking for just a normal analog watch and found this. You get some smart watch function such as notifications of calls and messages and you can assign notifications to certain contacts or apps. Step and sleep tracking also. The leather band is very nice but I wanted a black band silicone with a black buckle and got a third party band from Barton Watch Bands. Fit perfectly and it’s stretches so I find it more comfortable that leather. Fossil does offer a Black Band to purchase separately on their web site but it has a silver buckle. All in all it’s a great watch with limited smart watch features.

Generally a very nice watch with a few things to know
Pros: Attractive. High quality band, build quality, finish. App works well for what it's designed for. Step counting seems accurate, even going up and down stairs, which I suspected would throw it off. Button functions can be configured for several different useful things including ringing your phone if you can't find it. (And you can have multiple groupings, so one for day-to-day, a different configuration for exercise, etc.) Time gets set automatically (which is good because there's no way to set it otherwise.) Alert settings are infinitely configurable, so you can change where the hands point for different types of alerts. I have 12 set for my wife, 1 for Gmail, 2 for messaging, 3 for calendar, etc.Iffy: One night the sleep tracking for some reason only tracked after 4:00AM, but other nights it basically worked fine. I don't think I'll use that function much anyway.Things to know: As other reviewers pointed out, the watch face is somewhat hard to read in low light. I like the look of it so I accepted that, and if it's dark I'll just use my phone. In most lighting conditions it's fine. It is somewhat bulky and heavy, not ridiculous, but bigger than any standard watch I've owned. I'm used to it now, but just be aware. That's the main reason I won't use the sleep tracking much, I would rather not wear it at night. You do have to memorize your alert settings (Is 1 for Gmail or text messages? etc.).All in all a good purchase if you want to wear a more standard looking watch but still want step tracking and notifications.

Good Looking Large watch that can talk to your smartphone
I wanted a watch that could receive notification from my phone, but I didn't want to charge it every night like other smartwatches. This one fits the bill. It's a larger watch (check the case dimensions) but it worked well for my large wrists. The app for the fossil is just ok. It would be nice if they could break down the active tracker by hour with a table instead of a hard to read graph. It would also be nice if you could do a two button press for specific functions like the "ring phone" option that you don't use very often, but are Super handy to have.

Awesome watch except a few minor things to take into consideration.
I got this watch a little while ago, and at first glance I thought it would be too large for my wrist, I was wrong. The hybrid smartwatch feature is really handy, and I find that I use it all the time. I only have 3 things that I would personally change about this watch. Number 1 is the watch face is grey, so are the numbers, and hands, since there there is no glowing piece, it is very difficult to see the time when there is little light in the environment. For me it isn't a deal breaker, just something I don't like. Number 2 is that there isn't a a date feature on the face of this watch, again something that I can live with. The last thing that I personally didn't like is that the watch band is significantly thicker than I had thought. The outside of the strap is leather, and the inside is what I'd imagine to be silicone, for now I can deal with it but I will definitely be swapping that out for something thinner. I really like the idea of a hybrid smartwatch, however these are just my personal opinions on the specific one that I purchased. Overall, I definitely would purchase another one in the future should this one break. Great buy, 10/10 recommend it to anyone looking to make the purchase.

Excelente Reloj
