They are Okay, Except for One Small Issue
Overall, I like them. However, I seriously question whether they were actually designed for toothpicks. The larger one will hold 42 round toothpicks before becoming too full for the cap to sleeve over the toothpicks. Because the cap screws inside of the tube and has a smaller inner diameter than that of the tube, the cap tends to catch on the tops of the toothpicks when screwing it back on. The smaller one has a similar issue, but because the tube is shorter than the toothpicks, you can finagle the cap over the ends of the toothpicks easily enough. The limit seems to be 9 toothpicks for the smaller one, more than that and they will not fit into the cap. Ultimately, the number of toothpicks each will hold is constrained by the inner diameter of the caps. As a toothpick holder, this represents a flaw in the design. However, they are well made, and I will certainly use them for toothpicks, so I'll give them four stars.

Best - so far
Best product and best deal. I wanted to carry meds in a small tube I can put into a sling. The small ones are perfect, for the cost, This is the best deal. Very waterproof and easy to use.

Its a perfect little keychain, especially if you're trying to quit cigarettes and are in need of a quick toothpick to fidget with.

Nice containers at a good price.
I use the smaller ones for toothpicks and the larger for pills. They open and close smoothly. Don't know what more you could ask for.

These capsules are really of better quality than I was expecting. I did find one oddity because of that, however. With the smaller tubes, the screw-in top goes inside the lower tube. So... I put some toothpicks in the cavity of the top tube, holding it upside down, and then slid the lower tube over the toothpicks and screwed it on. Works fine, if somewhat unexpected. The tops screw on the larger tubes the conventional way.

Terrific Toothpick Transporters
Don't use the little ones, but the larger ones hold a chunk of toothpicks perfectly.
