Son loved so much that we bought a second one
One thing about this is you need to be careful with what is around you. Make sure you read the directions carefully before flying. There were a few key things I wish I had read before my son started flying this because it would have saved me from having to repair it twice. Also, when you think it might end up in a danger zone, hit the ground beforehand! That will likely save you some trouble and it doesn't really make the whole experience any less fun. As long as you learn how to use it, it is so much easier than learning how to fly a drone or helicopter. Perfect for kids. Just make sure you have enough time to read the instructions as well as have a large enough space to fly it. Not recommended for indoor use unless you're in cafeteria sized space. Also avoid using outdoor during a windy day in smaller areas because the wings are very thin and one small gust will cause it to change direction easily enough to cause damage if it lands high up in a tree or ontop of a roof (like happened to us but fortunately I was able to fix it).

Stop working after a few times
I've bought this product 2 times now. 1st time was a year ago and my son loved it, the wrong broke on it the 4th or 5th time he used it but he had it for 4 months when that happened so I just let it go. He got one for Christmas last month and flew it 3 times when the wings and tail stopped working. They are supposed to refund my money and I hope they do

They are loads of fun..but don't last long
The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic fun product. Allmost everyone that sees it..is amazed. It really trips them out. Every one asks if it has a camera..I tell them "I don't spy I just fly" unfortunately they don't last long. They all malfunction after about 30 full battery flies...which is about 15 min fly time per battery. Some are bad right out of the box. They lose connection with the receiver..or the tail( which controlls turning) goes out. But with Amazon's great return policy you don't have to worry about it. They come in a very nice foam case. But I recommend keeping it put together.i have found that Everytime you put the tail section on it starts getting worn out and pretty soon it won't work. there is something about flying these it just feels amazing. By the way ..I'm 68;years old

Not for small children
Old r/c guy here and I've found this to be a rather sophisticated high tech model. Amazing for the price. I'm fascinated with how it flys and steers. The instructions must be read and understood by an adult along with a few test flights before ever giving it to a child. Give it straight to a kid and within five minutes they'll either have it broke or on a roof, guaranteed.

It really flys!
Yes, it flew so good that it flew right across the street, over the neighbors house, circled a tree and landed near the top. Hopefully it is building a nice nest, but never saw it again. Make sure you have a lot of room before you let it go!I have no idea if it was a user error and product error, so that is why I gave it 5 stars.

Do not buy!!!
Do not buy! Very cheaply made, does not hover or fly. Lots of noise but doesn't go anywhere.

Cats love to hunt it!
So I have a large very skillful mix breed bobtail cat that can clear a privacy fence from the sit position when he jumps...the toys I buy have to challenge his hunting ability. He loves it when I get this out to play! He stalks it while it flys and nails it out of the air as practice...Warning ..the birds in the trees attack it because they think it is real. Can make it a challenge to fly...hahaha..it will tear if crashed Into trees...and does not fly really well upon taped repair...a blast to watch cats stalk it and grab it out if the air...Good fun!
