BBQ Fans Cross Branding Iron for Steak, Buns, Wood & Leather

Works great - wife used to make small wood cookies - did great. also tried on a hamburger bun for kicks. Did well!

I was hesitant to buy this since there was only one picture of the actual product. My father was a welder and he said that this was not a good job. Now I understand why there was only picture of the actual cross. The price wasn't worth what I received. Live and learn I guess

I used this cross branding iron for two purposes, actually. Just to give some background information, I'm a pastor and I needed something for a children's message. Together with washable ink, it was fantastic and helped me make my point. (Don't worry, no children were branded).The second use was for what it is actually intended for. I cooked a couple of choice steaks and decided, for fun, to try this out on them. It made a perfect cross on the steaks and had my guests smiling at the small gesture. The only problem I had was the plastic handle got a little too warm and started melting just a bit.
