This retractable garden hose has been a game-changer for my yard work. It has a sleek, modern look that actually makes it nice to have out in the open, unlike most bulky hose setups.Functionally, it’s fantastic—the water pressure is consistent, and it reels back in smoothly even when it’s fully unwound, which really impressed me. One of the biggest bonuses is that it doesn’t kink easily, so I’m not constantly stopping to fix tangles.If you want a hassle-free, good-looking hose setup, this one’s worth every penny. I have more than one of these. Generally great. Sometimes small winding issues, but may be due to high water pressure and the hose expanding. When the water is off I don't see the same issue. With that said, finding such a long hose in a package like this is not easy. When issues have arised, support has been very good.

The quality of this particular model is suspect, it works for a short period of time then the retractable locking mechanism-completely and unexpectedly fails! You’re able to clamp the hose at the housing to continue using it but the lock is shot and you’ll be taking chances of injury with continuing use!Here’s the rub: Customer support is fantastic and Impeccable in their responsive to your emails with the replacement unit sent out immediately, so I’ll give them that single star.Tragically each and every subsequent replacement, 2 to date, I’ve had to request has failed in the exact same manner with the locking mechanism literally crumbling to pieces inside the housing. Look at the images and beware of this model!!Also, the end of the hose at the brass fitting will fail eventually with use, after the locking mechanism.So you get a 1-2 wallet punch from an expensive tool you anticipated using for years.

I had an issue with pulling the hose out and having the hose "lock" where I wanted. Customer service reached out and helped resolve the issue.

I liked the first one so much I bought another one. Better hurry tariffs will hit soon. Very pleased with the quality.

A very handy tool to have. The 115ft length is exactly the length I needed to reach both the back and front yards. Installation was a breeze. The compact size and the retractable feature is a blessing. We encountered an issue a ways into our ownership, but Giraffe tools support was awesome and understanding.

The only thing I will admit is, this is a wonderful product until it’s not! I purchased just about one year ago and a few weeks ago the last 15 feet of the hundred foot hose would not wind and enter the reel. Logically I called giraffe tools at their support number and got the message “ no one is available to take your call”. I waited several days but received no return call, I called again and got the same message, waited a few more days, that’s about eight days, no return call. I left a message that I was going to post this information on as many review sites as possible and asked them why they advertise a support line when it doesn’t exist, seems a little hypocritical. There may be better options out there for auto Wind hose reels. This product has a two year warranty, but good luck trying to collect on that if required.

Could not give this a review for less than 3 stars but would have given it a 2. I bought this hose reel and did not install for 2 years due to issues in construction of my house. Once I did install, the hose that leads from the unit to connect to spigot had many pin holes right out of the box. The retractable feature never works right. It will not return fully into housing, coming up from 8 feet short to 3 feet short. Very unhappy with purchase and of course cannot be returned since it is way past that deadline.
