Perfect, with a little help.
Item was well made and attractive, but did not fit my cast iron sink as the attaching screw was not long enough to handle the thickness of that sink. Solved the problem by cutting off the flange on the part below the sink holding the gasket. This gained about a quarter of an inch and with a thinner gasket it seated nicely with no leaks. This may have been my failure to read the fine print. If not that information should be added to the description. Looks good, matches the dishwasher component and my wife is happy. What more?

The Best Kitchen Sink drain ever!
It’s the easiest to install kitchen sink drain you could buy out there, and leakproof. You could use a coin quarter or any piece of metal and hold it with a grip pliers or any pair of pliers you may have onto the screw. You could also use the round back of a finished wood nail to align the rubber casket washer under the sink onces you had tightened the drain to keep it from getting kink. Please view the pictures for reference. Cause a screwdriver just won’t do !

Nice but with a drawback
Bought this for a new granite kitchen sink. It has good aesthetic and was steel instead of plastic. ***THE GOOD*** Looks great, works great. Material is fair quality, but is overpriced a little (in my opinion). No leaks. No need for drain wrench. ***THE BAD*** After reading reviews about the strainer bolt being too short for some, I took a chance that it wouldn’t happen to me. My sink isn’t that thick. Well…it happened. That bolt really needs to be a quarter inch longer. I compressed as much as I could, still no dice. I ended up trimming the rubber gasket about 1/8” to get it to thread. I torqued it down really well afterwards. Definitely use a wide enough tool, preferably non-metallic, so that you don’t scratch the finish. I don’t have any hard feeling though. Besides that issue, it’s a great sink strainer.

Very nice & great price!
I ordered two of these to match my black faucet. I have been using these for 8 months now and love the look.

Good quality but don`t include what is needed
Exactly what I was looking for. Seems good quality with a nice finish. Now when I tried to install it, you can`t cause the dam connector screw is too short. They do this on purpose so you will have to buy an extended screw from them at 20.00. I have just a regular sink, not a special granite or thick sink. Scammers

Best baskets ever
Worked for a contractor for over 20 years and have installed numerous sink baskets. Wish I would have use these. Everything installs from the top and no plumbers putty required. You don’t need a second person for the install.

Well made, easy install
My dual stainless steel sink in my kitchenette suddenly developed a leak over time. I originally traded it to my under sink pic plumbing. After replacing all of the PCV, I still had a leak! After a quick YouTube search I inspected my drains and found out that they were source of the leakage. The drain baskets had rotted out underneath meaning that it wasn't visible while looking at the sink from the topside and wasn't visible easily from underneath...the water showed up on the PCV.....Anyway, It took about 90 minutes to replace both Drain baskets with plumbers putty (not included) and my sink not performs and look like new. At a fraction of the price of buying a new sink. Highly recommended

Kitchen sink drain cup
It was the exact drain cup that I needed. Took the old one out, installed the new one, and good for another 15 years,,,,

Nice but too short of Screw.......
Nice stuff but the screw is too short for my sink application. Great for metal sinks not for composite ones. Keep that in mind if considering to buy these items......

Excelent design for easy use and double leak protection
Very happy with this. The Ball lock style of strainer is exactly what I was looking for and the best style of strainer. It is easy to push down, easy to pull up. no issues with alignment, and doesn't fall down to seal when just set in place to strain. It also has a nice standard depth of strainer. (unlike the super shallow designs I kept seeing in hardware stores). Some features that surprised me are the sink drain gasket and how the lower body sits under the sink. Unlike the previous desings I've installed, no plumbers putty was needed. Instead a gasket specifically for the top side was provided. But better still, the way that the lower body and rubber seal sit, even if that top side gasket leaks, all the water will be caught and kept inside the drain. The previous drain that I just removed did not have that feature and the plumbers putty was allowing a leak to happen in the cabinets. No more worries about that with this install. The whole body was a little larger than the cheap one I took out, so it barely fit between my drain lines and sink, even with the short connecting pipe pushed all the way into the drain lines. So be aware that you'll loose an inch or two if you have a cheap / basic disign that you are replacing.
