My 11-year-old daughter is big into anime. Her room is slowly becoming an anime/manga shrine--one of the characters, Kokichi Oma, wears a scarf with this checkered pattern--and this bedding reflects that aesthetic.The material is a little on the crisp side, but the seams are done well enough and there is a nice long zipper that allows for insertion of the duvet. The matching pillowcases pull the look together nicely.To be honest, this is not exactly what I would call "Farmhouse style"--it pulled up under that search term--but for our purposes, it is perfect.Would highly recommend to Kokichi Oma fans.

If you get it.. remember this,, " I told you so!"It is cute and it is soft .... and as delicate as paper! The zipper broke the very first time I zipped it up. I figured oh well, I will just fix it at some time. I redid my son's room as a surprise and I needed the cover to finish it. Every time you make the bed it sounds like it is ripping somewhere. I would say you get what you pay for.. but this thing is way cheaper than the 30 bucks I paid for it. I would return but it was too late when I decided to.

I bought this for my grandaughter who is in the black and white phase....checkered. She absolutely loves this duvet and sham set. Its perfect and fluffed right up after she opened her package. She couldnt be happier. Note: 6 months later, shes still in love with this and said it washed so good, and fluffed right back up and was super happy with it.

Colors blended in on pillow case, not good for greasy head, just smeared.Material isn’t that fabulous! Felt like polyester! Why polyester feeling in every linings???
