Every plant owner should have one!
I am disappointed that I didn’t find this sooner. Could have saved a lot of plants I was way off on my water regimen. Requires no batteries, the quality is great I got this because of the size, I have a few dip potted plant it works on all of my plants and I have over 30 in my house. It has been very durable easy to use , insert and read the display. Has several moisture levels and not just dry and wet it’s a good read. Very well priced.

Simple, Accurate, and So Helpful for Plant Care
I purchased the Censinda Soil Moisture Meter 2-pack to help manage my indoor and outdoor plants, and they’ve been incredibly useful. The meters are very easy to read—just insert them into the soil and you instantly get a clear moisture level without any batteries or setup. The readings feel accurate, and having two meters is convenient since I can keep one upstairs with my houseplants and one in the garden. They’ve helped me avoid both overwatering and underwatering, especially with plants that are more sensitive. The build quality is lightweight but sturdy enough for regular use, and the long probe reaches deep into larger pots or raised beds. It’s a great tool for beginners and experienced plant owners alike. Overall, these moisture meters make plant care much easier and more consistent. Excellent value and highly recommended!

Great price for a functional and useful product.
This soil moisture meter works as advertised. It immediately gives the user an idea of how much moisture is present in soil and I use it to manage the watering of my houseplants. Since I have started using it I have discovered that I sometimes overwater and this helps to prevent that. The price is right and the product works well. Highly recommended.

It’ll probably save your plants from dying!
This is brilliant. I went around to all of my five different plants and got accurate reading it’s so easy to use. You don’t need a battery. It’s high-quality as far as how it’s made and how it looks. The seller did a good job acquiring it because this meter pretty much makes sure that your plants don’t dry out or die from being overwatered…

Up Your Plant Care Game
Do your plants hate you? Are they dying? When did you last water them? Do you know if your plant is getting enough water? Wonder no more with this doohickey. Ok in all seriousness, as anyone who has kept house plants will know it's a crap shoot knowing if your plant needs watering or not. Some of us let them go until they look pekid, or just have a date each month that the plants get watered. I have utilized both of these systems and some plants thrive under these conditions, but others do not. RIP English Ivy, you gave it your temperamental best and I will always remember how you hated just about everything. I bought this because I have a Monstera (well, actually 7, but who's counting) and she has big beautiful leaves on the main plant and the smaller plant has beautiful little leaves exact miniature replicas of their mother. In spite of having leaves the size of my palm, and I have big hands, and you know what that means, I always have to open the pickle jars, she's not fenestrating. So I did some research and it lead to buying one of these things. Wunderbar, now I have a gadgety little gizmo and two repotted monsteras that are growing like gang busters and still have no fenestrations. I'm not mad, I'm not even disappointed, I'm resigned to the fact that I'm doing something wrong and it's all my fault. I give you dirt and a pot and the sweat from my back and what do I get in return, a weeping monstera that is possibly going to out grown her pot or is going to at least need to have her roots buried every year. It's fine. I'm fine. Anyway, this thing hasn't helped with the monstera all that much, but it has helped with my Dracaena. And if you've worked with these plants, they are very easy to care for plants as long as you have the right water and the light is correct and you water in the correct intervals. This device will near instantly tell you the moister level of your plants soil and there is a handy guide that comes with it that tells you at what dryness levels you should water the most common types of houseplants. I would say use the included guide in conjunction with other sources for houseplant care. I always recommend "How Not to Kill Your Houseplant: Survival Tips for the Horticulturally Challenged" by Veronica Peerless to people with plant care issues. It's very basic and is a great quick start guide to diagnosing issues with the most common house plants. I imagine it would work great with outdoor plants as well, but I've not used it for that and probably wont' because, well, frankly, if you live on the porch or in the garden, life's just tough all over and you get watered when it doesn't rain.

Functionality is questionable.
I am hesitant to say that it works, sometimes I know that the soil is wet but the meter does not move a bit.
