Installed these on exterior brick wall which lighted a stairway. Existing light fixtures were bulky and protruded out into stairway. These square lights only protrude one inch from wall and cover the existing 3 1/2 inch workbox with sufficient room to screw wall mount to the brick with cement type screws. The cover plate covers all screws and wiring giving a clean finished look. All wiring and led circuit board are protected from the elements with an additional clear cover located behind the exterior finish cover. Hopefully the plastic type material use can withstand the UV rays over time.

Recently installed about a dozen of these in interior home theater and staircase as path lights.They seem to work fine, but needed an extra part for clean flush look and I encountered some annoyances during install. While the unit comes with cheapo drywall anchors, I used screw in drywall anchors from Home Depot (anchors ended up perfectly flush in drywall) to mount these indoors. This unit is not designed to be mounted on an electrical box (too large/holes don't line up on 1 or 2 gang box), but I did install single gang electrical boxes behind the lights (for wire junctions) - to be clear, unit sits on the drywall anchors.Installation Issues (present on all of the units I received):- These units pretty much REQUIRE an o-ring/gasket. The mounting pads make a gap between mounting surface and the light cover, about ~1/8" - I was able to see my electrical boxes and general gap which annoyed me (see pictures). To fill this gap I used Home Depot's assorted Large O-Ring Kit #3, which each contained about 4 black o-rings that fit the light base snugly (there was a couple larger/smaller ones included as well but they didn't fit snugly). This unit should ship with o-ring/gasket included (or fix the height of the mounting feet/make finish cover deeper)- Two out of the four corners for mounting are drilled. On almost every light I needed to drill through the remaining holes to achieve a flush mount (perhaps my walls are uneven). Why only 2 of the 4 holes are drilled are, I do not know.- The unit is labelled as waterproof rated (IP67). Documentation is unclear whether the gap experienced above is related to a waterproofing design element or if the unit requires some kind of slightly recessed install. Documentation also shows what appears to be very thin wire (maybe something like 18 gauge), but I wired this on standard 12/2 wire. The included rubber wire grommet is not pierced and appears unintended for wire passthrough - I removed this grommet on my units since they were installed in the interior and dry area.All in all, would say roughly a 3.75<->4.25 stars - appears to be a decent installable unit at the price point.

Nice clear light. Mounted them over stairways outside and it helps a lot.

Finally, a cost effective 120 v 4000k LED with a low profile, and just the right amount of light output.We bought 1 as a tester to view it a t night, and it was the perfect amount of light output, and the correct color.4000k is a nice warm more natural color, that is closer to the color of an incandescent bulb.Our installation, consisted of 12 planter columns, leeding up a driveway to the home.As you will see in the pics, we custom painted ours to a rustic bronze with a matt clear for sun protection.The wiring is very basic and easy to makeup, the unit comes with stainless steel screws for the clear cover.While mounting, if you feel you need to seal the back, seal with a silicone or grout.If it came with a slightly deeper cover and a stainless steel screw on the bottom to really secure the cover, I would give 5 stars.

We bought these for our staircase in our new home and they work perfectly. Great for a night light and just to see the stairs better.
